We really enjoyed our time here. Great communication with the host. If you are looking for a place that is steps away from a restaurant, it's not this house. You are 20 mins from almost all restaurants on cute, but windy roads. We would definitely stay again

Cozy, quiet cabin surrounded by wilderness. Plenty of sleeping arrangements available and comfortable beds. Cabin was fully stocked with the necessities. Loved that the community is gated and there were lots of places to walk and enjoy being in nature. Not too long of a drive to get into town for some family adventures and new restaurants for us to try. My kids loved having a ping pong table to play in the basement.

Thank you for such a lovely review! We're so glad you enjoyed the peace and quiet of the cabin surrounded by nature, and that the comfortable beds and fully stocked kitchen made things easy for your family. It's wonderful to hear the gated community and nearby walking spots added to the experience, and that the kids had fun with the ping pong table. Sounds like you found a great balance of relaxation and nearby adventures in town too.

From beginning to end, this was a perfect trip. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is well stocked from the kitchen to the linens. You'll find everything you need there. The host provides deer feed and that makes for a pretty magical experience, especially if you're staying with kids. The beds are comfortable and overall, we felt at home as soon as we walked through the front door. If you're traveling with a dog, be aware that they must be leashed at all times when outdoors. I don't have a single complaint after staying here for six nights and will absolutely return. If you're looking to get away from busy, chaotic surroundings, book a stay here.

Thank you so much for that great review!!! The deer are magical up there. We had one deer that would eat out of our hand and saw a newly born fawn. I am so glad you enjoyed yourselves so much and I definably hope you do return again Thank you for sending that great picture of you all on the deck, that made my day!!

Stay in Powder Horn Mountain

Our family took a short weekend trip to Powder Horn Mountain and wanted something in the woods close to Boone. This cabin was exactly what we expected. Nice location in the middle of the community and had a great "cabin in the woods" feel. Owner was very responsive and the cabin was ready to go when we arrived.
