An amazing property with a 4 bedroom house on 36 private acres that is located on the New River in Boone, NC. We have all the amenities you could ask for in a VRBO. A quiet location with a beautiful deck where you can star gaze at night or head to the river for some fun. This house is newly remodeled and professionally decorated. Bring your family or friends and have the vacation of your life.

P.S. please be advised in the winter months you may need to all-wheel drive if the weather is snowy. Clients are responsible for transportation to and from the property.

Kelly, our host, was very responsive and accommodating. The house is beautiful and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The home is spacious and lovely. We enjoyed watching wildlife and seeing the horses. There should be instructions however for gas logs, thermostat (we never figured it out), hot tub (we never used). I was disappointed that the New River was not easily accessible. There was one spot you could get down the embankment (we didn’t try), the rest was steep and overgrown. Glad we didn’t bother to bring kayaks. We had a few issues, so the owner unexpectedly refunded half of the nightly rate, which was appreciated. The roads getting there are not bad. The final drive is gravel, but not steep or winding. Location is very convenient to Boone.

Great location

Enjoyed the river fishing while at App State graduation. Easy drive to everything in Boone. Plenty of small reminders along the river to remind you of how Helene hit the area and how resilient the people in the area truly are.

The property was fantastic—close to town but still felt secluded. The house was clean and well appointed, exactly as advertised. Also, the check out process was so easy which was a huge plus!

Great place to stay on Boone NC

This place was super nice and quiet. The house was really clean, comfortable, and well furnished. Being able to get out and take a morning and evening walk around the property, and walk down to the river, was a real treat. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Bone farm getaway

We loved this property and home. It is a short drive to downtown Boone and also close to Blowing Rock. Endless activities in the area to keep people of all ages happy!

Wonderful house

Deck and covered porch were excellent. Enjoyed the hot tub. Kitchen was clean and easy to use. Showers are very nice. Family had a relaxing vacation. House was a great location for enjoying the area’s beautiful attractions.

2nd Stay at this beautiful house!

We stayed at this house in Oct of 2023 and loved it so much we planned another trip a year later in Nov 2024. The house is beautiful as ever and had no noticeable damage from Hurricane Helene. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and exploring along the river. The property is gorgeous and I’m sure we’ll be back again. It has plenty of space for our family of 6.

Will definitely be back

Our family with young kiddos plus grandparents stayed here over a rainy Memorial Day weekend and could not have had a better time. The house is wonderful and well appointed. The covered deck let us stay outside even in the pouring rain! The property was well maintained and the kids had a blast rolling down the hill and running the trails. Will definitely be staying here again!
