About this property

Beautiful new Lake House Family and pets friendly with beach access!

Beautiful and new lake house! Family and pets friendly! Just a few steps away from our lake Michigan beaches!

Please note that reservations made for any time during September - May are for 3 nights minimum, guests may only stay between Monday - Sunday.

Please note summer reservations June, July and August term may begin Sunday or Monday through Friday or Saturday, minimum 5 nights.

The house has three bedrooms with queen size beds, a master suite and three and a half bathrooms. We also have a travel crib and a high chair for the little ones!
The master suite has a king size bed a big screen tv and a balcony. Kitchen is on the main floor and has access to the outdoor deck and patio areas. It is equipped with stainless steel appliances and includes all your kitchenette needs. There is also a dining area with a large table and chairs. The living room is also on the main floor its very spacious and is furnished with comfortable couches that pull out to beds if necessary as well as a big screen tv. The basement is fully equipped with recline couches and a big screen tv.
For your entertainment there is a ping pong table, a foosball table, and an Xbox with games included.
The backyard features a patio with a gas grill, sharing fire pit for bonfires with next door house, and a hammock for relaxing. To enjoy the beautiful outdoors we provide you with bikes, kayaks, and a gas golf cart.
There is so many activities to do around town. Fishing, golfing, visiting a vineyard or a brewery, or just going downtown to explore. We are just five miles north of downtown South Haven, and 15 miles from Saugatuck/Douglas.
We love our house and this area, we hope that after your stay you will feel the same! Please take care of it as it is your own.

PLEASE NOTE : Lake Michigan water levels may be at record highs and beach conditions may change quickly due to uncontrollable natural factors such as erosion. While we strive to provide accurate photos and information about the lakefront, beaches and access; these conditions changes almost daily. Actual conditions of the beach may be different from photos or descriptions on this listing and stairs maybe closed. Excellent Family Time

The stay at this house was amazing. Large enough for my older kids and their families to have space, yet plenty to do together. Gorgeous interior and close to the beach. We love it and hope to make this our annual vacation spot.

Outstanding visit with our family of 6. Lovely house. Great hosts. Enjoyed the short walk to the bluff for sunsets each evening. Used golf cart to carry beach chairs, shade tent, and paddleboards to top of stairs down to the beach. Be prepared for the hike up stairs from the beach.

Lovely home

House was perfect for 7 adults and two infants. Everyone had their own space, beds were comfortable, and outdoor area was nice for either sitting in shade or chairs by fire pit. Everything as advertised.

Great vacation home for our family of 10. Comfy couches, good size bedrooms, the kitchen and grill were well planned for the large meals we prepared. We thoroughly enjoyed the yard with a covered gazebo and spent nights at the fire pit making s’mores. The outdoor dart board and corn hole game was a hit.

Peaceful beaching

We are South Haven regulars every season. This property is north of the town of South Haven, but absolutely perfect for a peaceful beach vacation. Everything at the house was new, clean and beautiful, both inside as well as very relaxing outdoor space between balconies, decks and a covered chill space with outdoor couches as well as a fire pit. The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly. You can access the private beach, or head to the public beach in town just a few miles down the road. We'd absolutely go back.

Great family friend get together

The property was spacious and comfortable for our 3 families to vacation together. The lake was a short walk away from the house. Groceries, splash pad and city beach were all within a 15 minute drive away.

Great house for big group

The house was very clean and spacious. It was great for a large group. The golf cart was great to use for driving around the neighborhood, and bringing groups to the beach. The beach was very small/not much room for sitting and relaxing, but was very scenic.

Good House for a family Getaway!

My extended family and I stayed here over the NYE holiday and it was a great spot. The home is good for larger groups (we had 8 adults, a 3 y.o. and a 5 month old) and family’s with a great family area. Can’t say much about the surrounding area as the weather was blah and we didn’t get to explore much. Check-in process wasn’t quite up to par, but communication with the host was prompt and friendly and all issues were corrected without a few hours. Overall a great place :)

Beautiful house!

The house was very clean well stocked with everything needful with a lot a fun extras as well. We had an issue with the AC on one room on the first night and the owners were responsive and had it fixed right away! Thank you! It was a great experience and very lovely house.

Beautiful home quiet stay

Beautiful home, spacious, well stocked. House has lots of pantry staples and dishes and a nice kitchen for cooking and eating in. We used the fire pit and ate out on the outdoor furniture set. Very small beach access available at end of neighborhood but plenty of other options for beach access nearby too. SoHa has lots of activities- we spent time canoeing/ kayaking, walking trails, picking blueberries, beach hopping, rock hunting, and shopping downtown. We caught a movie downtown too for only $5! Great place to vacation, lovely home to stay in.

Great house

We had a great stay!! My wife and I and our 2 grown children and spouses and infant grandson really enjoyed our stay. Each couple had their own bathroom and an extra 1/2 bath on main floor. The outside covered patio and the huge fire pit was where we spent a lot of our time. Provided golf cart was a great plus. House was extremely clean. Plenty of toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, pods for dishwasher. Also kitchen was well equipped and stocked with basic essentials. We highly recommend.

Nice house but far from the action

House was very nice and well appointed but this was our first time in South Haven so we had no idea what to expect. This subdivision, while nice, is far from the beaches. Cannot take golf cart or bikes to beach. There was no key provided to lifts for beach access in subdivision. The stairs are VERY steep and the older and toddler members of our party could not access the water in subdivision. Paddle boards and kayaks were provided but no way to use due to erosion in subdivision and no access to lifts. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the town then this is perfect for you. If you have teens that want to bike and shop then look closer in town.

Awesome Family Lake House

This family lake house was super clean, new with great finishes and all the details had been thought of. No matter what we looked for, we found it. Scissors, utensils, cooking supplies. There was a plentiful supply of toilet paper, tissues, towels, cleaning supplies, blankets, pillows, even throw blankets for those chilly evenings on the couch. The fire pit offered marshmallow roasting sticks. The garage was full of bikes (all sizes), a golf cart, water/beach toys, etc. The laundry room was well equipped with a large washer and dryer that came in very handy. Our teens appreciated the basement rec area with video games and other entertainment. Having 3 showers + a 1/2 bath was great for our group. The location was a little off the beaten path, which we loved. Just a few minutes drive got us into the heart of South Haven. And a quick golf cart ride to the end of the street we were at the access to the private beach. Overall this was one of the best appointed houses we have ever stayed at. The owner was very fast to respond to any messages and happy to assist if needed. This is a 10 out of 10 rental for our family which includes adults, seniors and teens. We can't wait to come back!

Fantastic Family Home

This home is perfect for a family vacation. The home has everything you could possibly need while on your vacation and it is so spacious and clean. We love the extras such as the golf cart bicycles and the awesome fire pit. The location of the home is perfect and close to town and of course to the lake. Definitely plan on staying here again.

Fantastic home!

I rented this property for my family for my wedding taking place in South Haven. It was extremely nice and just like the pictures. It was very spacious and the perfect place for the women to get ready. The owner was very nice and responsive with messaging. It was just a short walk to the beach. If we go back to South Haven, I would absolutely stay here again!

Family vacation

We are a family of six, we have two daughters and a son, and a mini Goldendoodle named Sparky! We have been in the US since 2006, we immigrated from Poland and have been living in the Chicago area since. We have been coming up to South Haven for about ten years now and we absolutely love it here. There is something about this place that just takes your heart. We wanted everyone to enjoy this area as much as we do and that is why we built two beautiful homes here. These are our first rental homes and we are excited to share them with you!
