Excellent property, great for our adventure team to stage for The Bear 100 and relax after. Access to the lake was awesome. Super convenient check out procedure. Great overall stay.
House was beautiful and great location by the lake, we also had plenty of parking for all of our trucks with trailers for the UTV's. The neighborhood was amazing and so welcoming! Great gameroom with plenty of TV's to also watch football. Great riding and close to town if anything was needed for purchase for groceries or beverages.
Beautiful home on a beautiful lake. The lake water is clear and lovely to swim in. The vibes are high in this little area. The swimming area next door is hoppin and offers some swimming rafts. We will definitely be back!
We had a fantastic time at this VRBO. The house was fully stocked with plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. The kitchen had many pans, spices, silverware, etc. There are many games in the basement in case it’s a rainy day. We enjoyed our private beach with the kayaks, paddleboards, and outdoor games. We at one point had 13 people staying there, and comfortably. We would definitely stay here again!!!!!!
A very good place to visit. Hope to go back again soon🥰😍🤩😘
The cabin overall was so spacious and comforable.

Great property & location, we really enjoyed our stay here. The little things really made it extra special, labels on the light switches and the best stocked kitchen utensils & items that I've experienced at a rental home.
Great place, highly recommend them!

Thank you Kiran! We hope you made some great family memories at Golf Shores Laona and enjoyed quality time in the Northwoods. Please come back sometime! Be Well ~ Julie & Jeff
This place is fantastic! Jeff and Julie were excellent hosts, checking in at times to make sure everything was going well and very quick to respond if we had any questions. This place is primed for multiple families or a large group of friends to get together and make some great memories, which is what we did with our family. Even in colder weather, we were able to enjoy the games downstairs and had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The lake was beautiful, and the proximity to the park across the street was excellent for the kids. The property was extremely clean (rated cleanliness 4 stars because one of the bathtubs had a drain clog, otherwise no concerns at all) and very well-stocked (dishes, towels, soap, shampoo, laundry, etc) for all of our needs. The wi-fi worked great and Direct TV allowed us to watch the Packers win! We really enjoyed our time here and hope come back again during warmer weather to spend some time in the lake!
As soon as we arrived at this rental home, we knew we made the right choice. We had five households come together with a handful of tweens & teens. Our favorite parts the house offers is the wrap around porch, and of course the sandy beach and fire pit. The neighborhood was terrific, and we enjoyed having the public park and beach next door for additional activities. The kids loved the Community Center nearby. And everyone loved having dinner at Water's Edge in Crandon to watch the waterskiing show in the summer. Thank you!
Rented this property for a weekend with some friends. It was very clean and the renters were very helpful with anything we needed! Would definitely recommend!

Took family here for fall getaway and greatly enjoyed our time, as well as, enjoying the cabin and property. The private beach was a hit for our 7 year old son along with the games in basement. Silver lake is a nice clean lake and the neighborhood is well maintained.

We purposely searched for a cottage with a nice beach, that would accommodate our extended family of three generations. The grandkids ranged from newborn to 6 years old. We loved this cottages beach area, and spent hours every day enjoying it! Fishing, swimming, paddle boating, and the standup paddle board was a lot of fun also. The cottage had plenty of space to accommodate bedrooms for the various families, playing phase 10 and dominoes around the table at night, and having Ms Pac-Man competitions on the arcade game. There was always something for everyone to do, or space to go and relax too. We had a great week!
Our extended family (grandparents, adult children, and grandchildren) thoroughly enjoyed our week. Highlights were the kayaks, canoe, and paddleboat. We also enjoyed the private beach and public beach park next door.

About the host
Hosted by Jeff and Julie
Born and raised in Wisconsin, we spent the majority of our childhood and adult summers in the Northwoods. After renting more than 20 different cabins over the last 25 years, we decided it was time to buy one of our own. The experience we gained through the process as renters will be put to good use as we strive to give you everything we came to expect and look for over the years.
Why they chose this property
This is what our family had been searching for in a rental property for the last three decades, but never quite found. It is simply a one-of-a-kind property you must experience to appreciate.
What makes this property unique
There are many lake rentals in Wisconsin but few, if any, can collectively offer everything this property does. First, the frontage is beautiful with a level approach to the water and a pure sand bottom. A perfect swimming area for kids and adults on a full-sport lake. The public park next door offers a sand beach and large swimming area, in addition to a full basketball court, two sand volleyball courts, a playground and picnic shelter. Outside the back door is a 18-hole golf course. Laona is encompassed within the Nicolet National Forest so there are abundant hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails. The house offers all the conveniences of home with central air, dishwasher, fireplace, wireless internet, satellite TV and washer/dryer combo. The lower level has a recreational room that boasts a big screen TV, classic arcade machine, darts, foosball, wet bar and various board games.
