About this property

Lake Metonga Cabin

Lake Metonga year-round cabin in Crandon, WI. The main floor is open concept living with beautiful custom beams on the Cathedral ceiling; old doors have been refurbished into barn doors on the cozy bedrooms; full kitchen with the island having a great view of Lake Metonga. Lower level has an additional sleeping area, full bath with family room having smart TV and fireplace. There is a pier for your boat and firepit that overlooks the lake for evening fires and cooking s'mores. Conveniently located near the public boat landing on the north end of Lake Metonga and within walking distance of the local drive-in and downtown Crandon. Lakeside deck for your morning coffee. There is WIFI, a fireplace and smart TV in both the living room and family room. Our guests have been successful fishing right off the pier and enjoying the many bike trails and nearby area fishing lakes. When the falls leaves begin to turn in September the color is brilliant in this area and Winter ice fishing is super. There are local hiking trails as well as ATV trails. We look forward to having you come visit us and relax for a few days. We can now comfortably sleep 6. Home has Central Air.

We live in Crandon and decided to try a VRBO 3 years ago. Each year we have made improvements and this year we have added a brand new aluiminum pier. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with the basement completely finished so we now have room for 6 with 2 full baths. We have received excellent reviews from our guests and look forward to meeting new ones this summer.

Why they chose this property

It is located on a 2000 acre full recreational lake (Lake Metonga) in a small community near the public boat landing and within walking-biking distance of local shops and trails that are open to the public. Our rates are affordable and we strive to keep it clean and sanitary each week between guests. Our location is private and convenient to the local amenities offered in this community.

What makes this property unique

Cozy cabin most suitable for a small group of up to 6 with open concept living areas & a full kitchen with the island bar having a great view of Lake Metonga. Quiet dead-end street for minimal traffic ; easy bike and boat access to the cabin for those who get out and enjoy the lake or just like to explore the area.
