A 1 mile stroll on level sidewalks will lead you to Black Mountain where local restaurants and shops are waiting to be discovered. A 15 min drive will bring you to Asheville / the Biltmore. Precious mountain towns surround you: Boone, Flat Rock, Lake Lure/James, and Gatlinburg. Hiking, sightseeing, and recreational opportunities abound in the surrounding area.
The yard is fenced in for kids and pets to enjoy!

Three weeks after my husband and I married, the military assigned us to Germany. We moved to one of the loveliest villages, Kusel. We began our new lives together in a new country exploring new places. We learned to appreciate an unplanned journey.
Fast forward two moves, 3 babies, several deployments, and retirement from the military, we had an opportunity to move to Asheville. The minute our plane landed, we felt transported back to Kusel, Germany. Asheville had the same small mountains and rolling hills, vibrant music scene, delicious beer, and castle (the Biltmore), just as “our” village in Germany had. We have enjoyed making this place our chosen forever home over the last few years.
