We had an excellent stay. The property is close to town and well appointed.The property ws clean. The bed was super comfortable and the setting so close to town yet surrounded by woods was really nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Art Chalet! The home is charming, comfortable, and full of personality. It’s conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown Highlands, so it was easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful place to come back to each evening. Missy was incredibly responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay, and we truly appreciated her hospitality. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Live-In Art Gallery Chalet! The location is fantastic—& the chalet itself is a cozy & unique mountain retreat.The high-end mountain-chic décor, beautiful furniture & original artwork make this place feel like a private art gallery you live in. We loved looking at all the artwork & discovering new details throughout our stay.The chalet has wonderful outdoor living spaces & we especially enjoyed dining al fresco on our private deck. The kitchen is gorgeous & well stocked, with great appliances. We also loved the wine bar & the classic record player with a great selection of vinyl—such a fun touch!The primary bedroom was warm & incredibly comfortable, with excellent bedding. The quality soaps & shampoo/conditioner were another thoughtful touch.Missy is a wonderful host—extremely communicative & full of great recommendations for restaurants & wine bars. The location made it easy to enjoy the local scene. We walked across the street several times for awesome BBQ from Highlands Smokehouse & our last night we enjoyed their live music from our deck. Such a treat!Also across the street, The Highland Country Wine & Provisions was spectacular & we picked up some fabulous Guy Davis wines. And there’s a great little fresh-produce market next door with unique cheeses & charcuterie items. Lovely baked goods, fresh veggies & fruits too. Very convenient!We highly recommend the Live-In Art Chalet…truly a special place in Highlands!

Cutest and most charming place ever, with the added bonus of it being an art gallery! The hostess was truly "the mostest" and she checked in with me frequently to make sure my stay was everything I had hoped for, and it was! Highly recommend, as the host makes sure every little detail is covered and left very clear and easy instructions for check-in and check-out. Very easy property to navigate, and close to everything in downtown. Five stars!!!
