Relaxing vacation in Tawas

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home on Lake Huron. The hosts were very responsive and made our visit feel like we were family. The sunrises were awesome and the lake was very active during our visit.

This is an awesome cottage. Very spacious with a large well stocked kitchen and good size bedrooms and bathrooms. The view from the front deck is beautiful.. Watching the sunrise over Lake Huron every morning was an excellent way to start the day. There was space enough on the front section of the property to set up a badminton game/ volley ball game. Everyone had a great time. Would definitely return to Sunrise!!!!!

The accommodations were fantastic. The owner was friendly and quick to answer questions. A perfect view of the lake and large yard to play games and hang out. Well-stocked kitchen with grill outside. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Family Trip

We stayed here with our extended family—5 adults and 5 kids—and had a wonderful time! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view of the lake was beautiful and peaceful, and the drive into town was quick and easy. We really appreciated how well-stocked the home was with essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags—something you don’t always find! We’d definitely stay here again. Family getaway.

This is a wonderful place for a family to relax and enjoy each other. All amenities are at hand and the bay is so great for swimming. With the high temperatures and high humidy we spent the bulk of our week in the bay. Hope to return again next year for our fourth in a row.
