If you’re looking to enjoy nature, this is it! We didn’t stay at the cabin much, bc we had plans on fishing and zip lining, and just enjoy the outdoors. We did enjoy the hot tub, it was nice and clean. The driveway is a bit on an uphill, but manageable. There’s a couple flatter places to park, which we utilized. Definitely use the map that is provided in the listing to get to the cabin. Thank You for a great stay!!

Christmas Getaway

It was a great getaway with my husband and two kids. We enjoyed the game room and the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils only thing I think it needed was a gallon jug to be able to make tea in.

Paddles Up was the perfect spot for our girls' trip! The cabin was super clean, the beds were cozy, and the kitchen was well-stocked for making group meals. We loved that it felt peaceful and tucked away, but was still only 5 minutes from all the fun in Hochatown. The hot tub was clean, hot, and exactly what we needed! We didn’t use it the second night due to rain, but the covered front porch made up for it. Heads-up: the grill is charcoal, so bring some with you. The separate game room, firepit area, and hammock added a nice touch. We’d definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay! We had 2 adults and children, ages 11 and 16. The kids loved the game room, swing, hammock, and hot tub! Small but efficient and within 5 minutes of hiking trails. The host is quick to respond. We would definitely come back.

Fun Stay

The cabin was perfect for kids and adults. It had everything you needed for your stay. My 6 year old loved being able to go into the woods and find sticks. We had hot dogs and smores by the campfire, played Nintendo in the game room and at the end of a long day relaxed in the hot tub. Great location to get to the water and trails. Only downfall was the road to get to the cabin is very rocky and rough but we took another way in and the road was better. I'd definitely stay again.

This place was great - Loved seeing deer, comfortable cabin, perfect!

Our family of five was so happy in this cabin. The Game Barn was awesome. I loved playing PacMan and being able to turn on the AC! It was the perfect place for the kids. The cabin had everything you could want. The Jacuzzi was a nice way to relax. We especially loved how deer would walk behind the cabin everyday and we could enjoy fireflies. The fire pit was great and the perfect place to make S'mores! The host was really responsive too. Would definitely stay here again!

Great experience

For it being my first time I will say it was a great experience! The cabin was beautiful and clean. Loved the hot tub. Very cozy all around, the only Problem was just getting up the driveway and the roads getting there. Other than that we had a blast and will definitely be coming back again! The host was super nice and helpful when we had questions, and she answered quickly and even came to help us with the game room lock.

Family girls trip!!

The cabin was beautiful. Had hard time getting to cabin on the roads. I have a SUV but the roads are steep and made of rocks. Don't bring a car. Bring your own paper towels, hand soap, clothes soap(if you want to wash clothes). Cabin can hold 6 but only 5 towels available. No chaulk for chaulk board. Over all we had a great time!! The cabin was very pretty and kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, beds were very comfortable!!!

Overall the cabin was nice as described. However, one of the reasons I booked this cabin was for the advertised game room. One of arcade games will not turn on, the Tv remote did not work, and the a/c would not cool the unit to the point it was over ninety degrees inside of the gaming shed during the stay and unusable. Additionally, the a/c to the main cabin would not cool the cabin and it got up to 84 degrees on our second day. I reached out to the local contact who asked me to shut the unit off and turn the fan on around noon but an a/c technician was not contacted until after 6pm that night. When they left the a/c continued to malfunction. The following morning it was 77 in the unit. If the a/c is fixed for both of these buildings overall it would have been a great stay.

Just the facts

Beautiful location but getting to the property was difficult because of the washed out dirt road. Definitely need 4 wheel drive! All of the tv’s were great in the unit. Kitchen was pretty well equipped however it was not well maintained! Definitely needs a deep cleaning because I found bug droppings in the silverware tray! Cleaned it myself! The shower was great! However, the clean towels were still damp and there was only 1 wash rag for 4 people! Bad mattress in the front bedroom and the living room furniture has seen better days! The overall cleanliness of the place was poor! Great front & side porch but it was really dirty! If the place was cleaned up it would be great!

Girls trip

A few of us girls traveled from Texas to meet here to celebrate a friends birthday. Although due to natural disaster circumstances we were unable to use the amenities, the host was easy to get ahold of and accommodating , the property was as listed, Hochatown was fun, we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy little cabin

Make sure to follow the directions on which road to drive in on! Such a cute, fun cabin. It offered plenty of space for my family of 4. Our little girls loved the oversized couch to have movie nights and we loved the space to explore just off the back porch. Everything was there that we could have wanted!

Perfect for small group

We booked this cabin for a girls trip. Perfect size for us four girls! The road was a bit rocky and bumpy but we all had SUVs so had no trouble getting in and out. Our only downfall would be the thermostat not being able to be out below 68 which wasn't terrible because it wasn't too hot out. Besides that it was perfect!
