This charming 2 bedroom solid brick home has an inviting ambience with stylish white interior and polished oak floors. Blessed with a most convenient location, just a few minutes from the Sandy Bay shopping area with its cosmopolitan cafes, pubs, supermarkets and up market boutiques. It is also within easy walking distance to Salamanca and Hobart CBD.

The Space:
Highlights of the accommodation include spacious lounge with skylight, open fireplace and heat pump for cosy winter evenings. A modern kitchen/dining with glass splashbacks and stainless steel appliances is light and bright and will impress those who love to cook and entertain. A very smart modern bathroom and 2 generous double bedrooms complete this special home.

There is a variety of outdoor spaces with a very large, private timber deck overlooking the easy care back garden, a semi-enclosed brick-paved patio plus a secluded front verandah.

Of course wifi is available and Netflix has been connected, so if you decide to stay in you can enjoy some entertainment with a takeaway meal from one of the many local restaurants.

Lots of off- street parking and plenty of storage.

The Neighborhood:
A great little neighbourhood with plenty of coffee shops and eateries, 2 large supermarkets and just a short walk to the Salamanca Markets, a 10 minute walk to Casino, 3 minute walk to a lovely childrens playground situated on the Derwent River where you can hire canoes, watch the boats sail by or just go for a peaceful walk.

Well located and cosy quirky cottage

Very convenient homestay in an older and quieter part of Hobart. Easy walking access to the beach, shops, parks etc. The house was very comfortable and was generally well set up. The kitchen was neat and clean and sufficient for basic cooking. It was great to stay in an older house that had been restored and thoughtfully upgraded with comfort features such as the lovely bathroom. Recommended.

Great place to explore Hobart

Lovely cottage in Sandy Bay. Great location, close to shops, restaurants and easy walk to beach/ park. Comfortable lounge with good heating. Well equipped kitchen and handy off-street parking.

Sandy Bay Stay

The property was well located, easy walk to Salamanca Markets, Brook Street Pier (for MONA) and shops (Woolworths and Coles). It also had off street parking. It was neat and tidy with all amenities required. I would certainly stay here again in the future.
