Welcome to The Magish-Inn! This quaint studio carriage home is located above our garage, off the back lane.

Built new in 2018, it is bright, cheery, clean and functional!

The decor is based on historic magicians, vintage props and old artwork. Think Houdini - and you’re on the right track.

Amenities are within a 10 minute walk, with everything else just a 5 minute drive - groceries, restaurants, theatre, the famous Mission Raceway, and more!

No tricks needed! You will LOVE your stay!

Our studio unit includes a queen bed and a double pull-out couch. The kitchen is equipped with a table & 2 chairs, a 2 burner cooktop, microwave, fridge/freezer, Keurig coffee maker, single-serve drip coffee maker, kettle & teapot, & convection toaster oven. There is a wall-mounted 55" smart tv with full cable & Netflix. There is an abundance of plug-ins, and usb ports, for all your charging needs. The bathroom includes a stand-up shower.
There is a full-sized washer & dryer as well as a newly installed wall-mounted heat pump (including air conditioning). A desk, electric fireplace and an abundance of games & books will round out your stay.
We live on site, and are available 24/7 should you need anything we've not already thought of! Please msg us if your request is outside our listed parameters - we’ll do our best to accommodate you!

The host was very welcoming and ensured that I was able to unload my car closer to the house. My host was there and responded to all my questions.The home had everything I needed and some things that I didn’t think about. Parking was accessible and the neighborhood was as safe and quiet even though it was by a busy street and I was vey close to work and shopping.

Cool little place!

The place was immaculate. It had everything that I needed. Even though it was small, I was able to cook a nice dinner for myself and my sister. The Keurig machine was just what I needed in the morning. I had a question and the hosts responded quickly. And it was nice and quiet which I really appreciated after spending the day with my family. And very interesting decor!

Felt just like home

Truly enjoyed our stay we felt right at home. This uniquely decorated studio is very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed to make us feel right at home. The Magish-Inn is Full of Magic

This carriage house was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to the Abbotsford/Mission area. After seeing the photos of the interior, I was thrilled to find out that this magic-themed apartment was named "The Magish-Inn". So clever! It even appears on Google Maps with this name! It must have taken the hosts years to put together this collection of magical items! So much to see! Even after 5 nights here, I still think we missed seeing some items. The ammenties are what is needed for a short stay. A small fridge, stove top, microwave, and toaster oven were perfect for breakfasts and small meals. I was happy to see a washer and dryer so that a small load of laundry could be done. It took us a while to learn the remote control for the air conditioner, but had it set for our comfort soon enough. We had told the hosts that the two of us would be using both the bed and the sofa for sleeping. I was thrilled to see that they had set up both with the bedding we needed. I didn't have to worry about setting up the sofa. The location is close to several restaurants, pubs, and stores. I was delightfully surprised to have access to a detailed book about the Magish-Inn, the area, and everything we needed to know about our stay. Check-in was super easy, there was a private parking spot and there was even a charging station for EV cars! Thank you Nicole and Mike for this wonderful start to our vacation! I'm glad we had a chance to meet during our stay!

Quiet home away from home

Our stay was magical. This home had everything we needed to feel right at home. Walking around the quiet, clean, safe and friendly neighbourhood was relaxing. A quick walk downhill and you have everything you could need- coffee- groceries- restaurants. We loved the little details the host has put into this property - making it a very memorable stay. Oh and the bed- soooo comfortable. I highly recommend this home if your in the area.

Simply Fabulous!

This gorgeous property is exactly as advertised, plus some! Absolutely everything was considered and beautifully presented. Close to grocery and lovely local parks to enjoy-we are delighted we found this little gem! And our hosts were wonderful. Mike even drove us to the nearest Sky Train Station saving us from a raining mornings’ travel. We loved Mike and Nicole’s “Magishinn”- as it’s name implies, it was truely magical..

Comfy & cute!

My mom stayed here for a visit in town. She was very comfortable and it was a clean, cute little house. She definitely enjoyed having a space all to herself and not being in a basement suite etc. The AC was definitely a nice feature considering we were in a heat wave. Overall, I think that she would enjoy staying here again! We struggled a bit with check in process (VRBO wasnt updated with the check in info and it was a bit tough to get ahold of hosts to clarify) but it was resolved by the hosts once we connected and ultimately didnt interfere with her stay at all.

This neighbourhood appealed to us as it’s small & close-knit. Our neighbours are fabulous & we loved the aesthetic of the houses.

Our property is based on old time magicians and the decor reflects that. It features a crazy number of props & memorabilia, as well as autographed posters & magic books.
