Superb and spacious 6 bedroom cabin perfect for multiple families. The home is fully equipped and tastefully decorated. It has a full kitchen, gas fireplaces, internet access, flat screen TV's, pool table, and much more.

Alpine Chateau is located in the secluded neighborhood of upper Moonridge. It is less than two miles from skiing and snowboarding, golfing and the zoo. It's within 5 miles of most other Big Bear attractions.

Q: How do we check-in?
A: Detailed instructions on how to check-in are sent in the confirmation email. You are required to follow the check-in instructions provided. The confirmation email has the address of the rental, check-in instructions and any other information pertaining to check-in. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving afterhours.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?
A: Check-in time is 3pm and check-out time is 10am. During the Christmas and New Year holiday period (Dec 18-Jan 3), check-in is at 4pm due to high demand.

Q: Can I bring more than the maximum number of guests specified on the listing?
A: No. The maximum occupancy allowed for this home is 10 adults and 4 children. The limits are strictly enforced and may not be exceeded at any time during your stay.

Q: Do I need to take my trash at the end of the stay?
A: Yes. In accordance to City Ordinance all guests must take the trash to a disposal site at the end of the stay. Trash bags and directions to the disposal site are available at the cabin.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Wash all dirty dishes. Make sure to place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher & start the cycle. Do not put away dirty or wet dishes in the cupboards. Clean dishes can be left drying on the rack.
Gather all trash from the house and take to the nearest disposal site. Do not leave any trash inside or around the outside of the home. The nearest disposal site is 41974 Garstin Dr, Big Bear Lake.

Amazing stay in Big Bear

The cabin was beautiful and fit all of our family perfectly! The cabin location was so convenient, we were no more than 15 minus from snow boarding, shops, and groceries.Communication with the host was very easy and effortless. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Trip to Big Bear

This place was amazing! Check-in process was quick and easy. Beds were comfortable. The place had everything we needed. Very clean. Great games to entertain the kids. More than enough space for a group of 12. Will definitely stay here again. Can’t wait till next time.

Great getaway

Group of friends getting together for a mountain bike trip. Perfect house in nice area with plenty of beds and nice decks to sit out and enjoy the weather. Would have loved to have seen patio furniture but other than that, house was very well stocked.

This home was perfect for our family of 12 for Thanksgiving. The only draw back is the rental company is watching you. At one point we had 5 cars in the driveway and they took pictures and text me. So if you have anyone is visiting for a day they will take pictures and threaten a fine.

Best Sunrises Anywhere!

The property is an amazing, comfortable, and beautiful home. We all enjoyed the scenic views from the decks as well as the ease of the use of the house. We truly had an amazing experience. The house was beautiful and comfortable. Overall it was clean but there was spider webs and the bathtubs needed more cleaning, there was some hair and a few other minor things. The downstairs fireplace wasn't working, the lighting of the house especially the rooms wasn't that great. It was a little cold in the house, it sucks we couldn't adjust thermostat. Everything else was great, felt like home. We had a great time, the snow was beautiful. We took our own table and chairs to sit outside in the balcony, it would've been nice if they put furniture there. I would book this house again. I do recommend.

"We never said fridge was in the kitchen"

It was a huge shock to walk into this home with a huge sign on the kitchen fridge "do not use". We had to use a much smaller fridge in the garage. yes, all weekend long, two families, 6 kids, walking across the house getting every little thing we needed to cook. When i called the rental company the first thing she said is that "the property is listed with a fridge but we never said where it was in the house. " Are you kidding me?? Who would rent a big home knowing they have to walk up and down flights of stairs to get to the garage and get stuff for every meal. Totally ridiculous! They didnt have the decency to warn us this was happening and didnt offer to deduct anything from our bill because of this huge inconvenience. I will not ever rent anything from this company ever again! All they would offer is to bring ice so we could keep the food that didnt fit in our coolers cold. Other things misleading and wrong with the house: - can't use AC, so told to open windows, but one of the main windows in the family room had no screen - poker table with only two chairs - outdoor BBQ but no patio furniture to put food on or sit (its like they don't really want you to use it) - you can feel springs on mattresses on bunk beds (even my little boys refused to sleep in them bc hey were so old and decrepit) - only one bathroom in lower level where you have 3 bedrooms, and the shower door barely closes, inundating floor; even petite adults and tall kids could barely turn around in that shower it is soooo small and uncomfortable - bring your own toiletries - the ones they provide are gross - the dirt on the outside deck near the railings was caked on Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!

This review is dedicated to "Detective" Cesar and his crew of falsifiers.

"Detective" Cesar claims that a 10 lb pomeranian that briefly visited us at our rental property is capable of scratching a wooden door to the point where it is visibly reasonable to assume the dog was trying to escape. "Detective" Cesar claims that a dog can do such a thing when left alone for an extended period. Clearly, "Detective" Cesar is not one for common sense and is entirely reliant on being oblivious. Any reasonable person, regardless of their experience with animals, can realize that a 10 lb pomeranian is unable to accomplish the magnitude of scratching that the detective is accusing us of. Clearly, "Detective" Cesar is not reasonable. I have attached the photos as reference. "Detective" Cesar also went ahead and sent us photos of various amounts of animal feces he found in the backyard and was able to use his magnifying glass even to spot some animal urine in the snow! Great work, detective. However, your efforts are as risible as they are deplorable. Our dear Cesar went ahead and sent us feces that is arguably the size of a toddler's feces and not a 10 lb Pomeranian feces. The "detective" shockingly found a large number of feces, that looks like we gave the Pomeranian Ducolax and let her go at every inch of the property's front yard. While we concede that we did have a dog on the property briefly visiting with a guest, we are disgusted with this property managers (“detective” Cesar’s) professionalism and opportunistic mentality in trying to take an amount of money that is not reasonable. If Cesar were to charge us a small amount for violating the agreement and having a dog there, fine. We are reasonable people. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about this management company. They are taking this opportunity to make a profit. What is terrible is that the management company is not even apologizing for the fact that their heater system was placed at a temperature so high that we were unable to sleep any of the nights we were there. We made numerous calls and did not get anyone on the phone for hours. The check-out instructions stated “change the thermostat” but there was no key provided to even access the thermostat. The beds were so high off the floor that my elderly grandparents needed a boost to get up there. The pillow covers were very obviously covered in stains. Great property & amazing Customer service

This home was wonderful and we really enjoyed staying here!! The customer service was amazing!! My 6 year old daughter lost one of her gold and diamond small butterfly earrings and I thought no way they can find it, but surprisingly enough, they somehow found it and shipped it back to us and waived our shipping fee!! My daughter was soo excited to have her earring back!! Would definitely recommend staying here
