My family and I had so much fun together while we were at this home. We had the best view of the lake. Family Wedding

We were in town for our son’s wedding at Quail Run Ranch in Newport. This home was roomy enough for our four kids plus a couple family members. The best part was the minute we walked in the door, it was evident that the owners are Cougs! From attending college at WSU to tailgating in Beasley lot after college, we are Cougs through and through! We had a great stay!

Sons wedding wknd

Perfect setting with all the right options- main floor for mobility challenged grandparents, boat launch nearby for hubby and boys to get away, plenty of beds, coffee😁, utensils and dishes. Christmas Family Time

This was a great space to gather with our children and their families. The kitchen is quite small but we realize that this home is best utilized in the summer when all of the cooking can be done outdoors. There was plenty of space to spread out and we absolutely LOVED the large couch in the main living room, there was room for everyone to sit. We had a wonderful time here celebrating a late Christmas together.

Our main reason for renting this house was the beach and dock. The house was well stocked, but old and cramped, especially the kitchen. There was 11 of us. I couldn't imagine more. If you plan on spending most of your time outside, you should be comfortable.

We love the shallow water and the open concept of the main room with the large windows. Husband is in a wheelchair. It is hot. We brought our own portable window air conditioner which cooled off the kitchen.

Diamond lake

Our family needed a larger home to house family for a wedding. This spot met our needs. It has a fully equiped kitchen with a bit quirky layout, but worked for all our needs. The view from the living room to the lake is peaceful and relaxing. The bedrooms are simple, yet comfortable. The lakefront dock and beach was awesome. Only downside is that it right off the hwy. It does have a fence, which helps quite a bit. Property manager was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The house and amenities are great for families. The location was perfect. Upon arrival the inside and the outside grounds needed to be cleaned better. Lots of dust. The fridge had crumbs inside Non of the outside furniture had been wiped down in quite some time. Neither front or back lawn had been mowed.

Great stay, lots of room for guests, beautiful property, amazing neighbors, house stocked with everything you could possibly need, and very clean. The only thing I wish we would have known before we booked is that one of the two cameras they have point right out to the beach/grass/dock which having a group of young adults walk around in our bathing suits was a bit uncomfortable. But still a great stay and a great property.

Cozy lake cabin

We were so impressed with this cabin for our family group of 11. The large couch made playing games and hanging out easy to do. We also appreciated the extras that the host provided including K-cups and some paper products. The check-in process was simple and the owner was extremely responsive with questions that we had and when we had a problem with a bathroom. We hope to return sometime!

Wonderful family place!

First of all, I want everyone to know I have wonderful thoughts about this place and I'm considering renting again. The home has three levels with restrooms on each which allows for multiple families privacy. The deck with the yard easing right into the water was amazing for all ages. The kitchen had more cooking supplies and spices than I have ever experienced in a rental. I brought my own crock pot and skillet due to past experiences and never had a need for them. We spent each day fishing and we caught quite a few perch and trout. Kids were all able to Kayak, paddle board, and tube. The yard was plenty large enough to play volleyball as well. The over sized couch in the living area was perfect for some downtime. All 14 of us fit very well! The location of the home was nice as well. Just 6-7 miles down the road to Newport. Has everything you need (Gas, major grocery, fishing supply, restaurants, etc.) Things I would adjust (I actually wanted to just let the owner know in private, but don't see access to. The following are just informational for owners because I know you go through a company that manages it for you and for future renters to make it perfect.) 1) In the description it says there is only a Keurig, but there is a standard coffee maker and it was half full and on when we arrived. I'm not sure how long that had been. Someone's reading glasses were left on a bed and the bathtub had to be cleaned before use. It just looked as though when cleaned last the film was not rinsed off. 2) There was only 1 extra garbage sack for the main kitchen. We looked high and low, but finally just went and bought some. 3) Only one roll of extra toilet paper in each bathroom was not enough either when you have 14 people for 5 days. We again ran to the store. 4) Only 2 dishwasher pods were there. If you have 14 people, you know you go through a ton of dishes. We did a lot of dishes by hand. 5) In the description it said there were AC wall units and there aren't any. We did okay with the fans, but it was only in the high 70's, low 80's. I couldn't imagine 90-100. 6) In the description it says there are lake toys (Thank you so much for sharing! Things like this make rentals that much more likable.) Beware though, we had quite a consistent breeze which caused the neighbors floating trampoline to be pretty much on the rental property the whole time we were there. Some discussion went back and forth amongst the adults in my group whether or not it was part of the rental or shared etc. The second anyone got on the trampoline I got a phone call with the neighbor complaining about us encroaching on his property. I totally understand. I wouldn't want to live next to a rental either, so just an FYI for any future renters. 7) Finally, the dock is really unstable at the beginning portion. Everyone was teasing me because I was not sure about walking across and got mad when anyone walked by me when I was on it. By the first night a section fell and hurt the youngest on our trip. He's okay, just a pretty deep scrape. His sister admitted he was walking across it quite a bit because he was really excited when he got there and wanted to be out by the water. Mind you, he only ways 60 lbs. I'm just glad non of us middle aged, super out of shape people didn't fall. We chose to just leave the section on the ground because we didn't want to risk it falling again and/or breaking it. I hope this helps anyone that rents this wonderful home in the future. It is truly one of the very best family set ups!

Beautiful lakefront with nice large home

We had such a wonderful experience renting this lake home that we already booked a week for next year. Some of the amenities that we were impressed by are: • Well equipped kitchen • Numerous sleeping areas • Greatroom with comfy couch • Grassy area • Sandy beach • Shallow water for children to play • Lawn games and water toys • Shade tree • Sunsets • Friendly manager who quickly answered our questions • Already looking forward to our next stay at this gem of a vacation home.

Perfect Weekend Get Away!

We have a large family and this place was perfect for our annual family gathering. Great location, ample parking, awesome views and a perfect combination of shaded grass and sandy beach. The owners were great to deal with and have plenty of supplies for your family dinner or BBQ. Outside fridge, Lake Toys and Corn Hole were great touches. Thanks for having us... we will be back for sure!

Best getaway!

The owner was very kind and communicative. We had the best weekend here. The water isn’t very deep by the dock so the kids had a blast playing in the water. They allow you to use their canoes and paddle board and had a TON of life jackets so there was definitely no shortage there. The home was clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (besides the food of course) we would love to book this home again for a weekend getaway! 10/10 recommend.

Cozy cabin on Highway

We choose to stay at Diamond Lake as we were skiing at 49 Degrees North. We loved how comfortable and clean the house was. The only down side was the kitchen and eating area is quite small. It is not a big deal when you can eat outside, but in the winter there was not enough room as it only seats 6 and there were 8 of us. Bonus for us is the "COUG" decor. We would definitely stay here again if we are in need of a house rental in the area. Thank you for having such a great spot to rent!
