We checked in on our start date and spent the night. Next day we did some fun things in PCB. Came back to the rental and got ready to go to dinner. Everywhere was packed and 2 hour waits so with small kids we decided to get some frozen pizzas and cook back at the rental. Turned the oven on and started hearing snap, crackle and pop's! The oven shorted out and started a fire in the wall. I called Pristine Properties at 6:41 pm and it went to voicemail. I hung up and called 911 at 6:42. After that call I called again and left a message explaining what is happening. Fire dept. came and shut the power off and condemned the rental. We had no where to go. An hour an a half later they finally called and apologized saying they can put us in another unit. My son, his wife and my grandchildren already left and started driving back to northeast GA. They called again the next day and I said accidents happen and that since our vacation was ruined I requested a full refund and also explained about all the food we bought that got destroyed by all the fire extinguisher dust as well as the beach equipment I rented and never go to use. They said they would call next day and never did. I tried several times to call and email and not get answers. Finally 3 days later I got an email saying they would pay me back a little over 1/2 what I paid and no food or beach rental payment. This is the worst customer service I have seen in my 67 years!.
