The homeowner would like to share the following: -Thanks for bringing this to our attention and we sincerely apologize for some of the issues you experienced. While we do have ongoing yard service that manages and keeps the yard in good order, unfortunately, our landscaper has retired and we are in the process of a new lawn management company, but we’re sorry how this impacted your stay -Our check-in instructions state the key is located inside a lock box with the code provided. This is the first time a guest has provided this feedback and we have had no issues from past travelers -The safety of our guests will always be our highest priority and sincerely apologize for not having the windows and doors locked bars before your arrival, We've passed your feedback along to our cleaning team to follow up on all these issues to ensure our high standards are being met and exceeded. -While we try to accommodate all guests' comfort, we're sorry for the confusion with the storage space. The master bedroom has a dresser, to ensure everyone can see the current status this will be marked as the 'owner's property'. We have sufficient clothes storage, both bedrooms also have closets and entire empty dressers for clothes storage We appreciate your feedback, and we are confident that future guests will continue to enjoy five-star stays here!

Hi Michael, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the owner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay if there were any issues you needed addressing. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home. - Lake weeds are removed periodically, but not on a weekly basis. We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but the amount of weeds in the water is simply out of our control. - We are installing stairs this summer for easier lake access for kayaks. - The latch on the basement door will be inspected on our next visit to the property. - The listing does state that the property has a lot of stairs and those with limited mobility may find it difficult, but we are sorry if this caught you off guard. Additionally, we use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs. Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve!

Hi Grey, thank you for your review. We wanted to pass along the following feedback from the homeowners: We have ordered a new state-of-the-art dock, but due to supply chain issues and lack of employees, the company has gone from delivery in two months to five months. We apologize but are working to improve this. The current dock is stable, though. We will update when possible!
