About this property

Executive family house, private with stunning rural views close to Lake Rotoura

As you drive up our private gated driveway through the walnut trees you will see our architectural 2 story macropcarpa clad home. Hidden from the road is our new house, designed to entertain the family. We have a high end kitchen with all facilities, our open plan dining and tv room steps out onto a large covered concrete patio overlooking the hamurana hills and stunning North facing rural views. The 3 bedrooms are spacious and with 2 large separate bathrooms and 3 toilets you will not be waiting to use the facilities.
The property is set on 1 ha of land planted out in natives that attract many tui, kereru and other native birds. We are less than a 2 minute drive to the Hamurana walkway which meanders along Lake Rotorua and 5 minutes to the boat ramp at Lake Rotoiti. 10 minutes drive to Rotorua central, 10 minutes drive to the mountain bike trails at tech park and 40 minutes to down town Tauranaga. You will not be disappointed by the privacy and peaceful setting.

We had a great stay in this lovely home. The house was exactly as it stated in the add. Everything we needed, the view was lovely and peaceful and just what we wanted. Fantastic Retreat

Amazing Property that gives you a sense of being at a retreat while only being a 20mins away from MTBing or anything else you want to do in Rotorua. It was so good we can't wait to stay again. The owners were amazing, great communication and instructions. Clean modern property.

Hamurana stay

We had a lovely stay here. It was a perfect location to take our boat too, and easy to get to the many surrounding lakes. It was also close to Tauranga for a day of fishing there also. It was also a perfect place to take our wee dog. We felt comfortable leaving him for short periods after a couple of days. The house is absolutely lovely, especially the kitchen. Great amenities and us and our children had a wonderful time here.

Since coming to Rotorua I have fell in love with the lakes and the forests and want visitors to see our beautiful city that we live in.

Why they chose this property

Our home is private and north facing and was once farmed, we are planting all 1 ha of it in native trees to encourage the native bird life to return. We envision in years to come to create a park like environment with walking tracks on the property
