excellent cabin - great views
Everything was awesome except:
lots of ladybugs - need to solve that problem.
The fireplace chimney is not working - it would not capture the smoke (even with the flu fully open); we had to douse the fire because of the smoke pouring into the house. Need to get a chimney sweep to fix it.
The stay was exactly what I was looking for. It was clean and newer construction. The dock down by the water was great for our morning coffee. The internet was also very reliable. I hope to come back again!
Property was very clean, had what we needed in the kitchen, and provided good info on local area. Good communication before and during stay. Rooms on first floor are small and no closet on second floor. Was fine for us and the price point was reasonable . We’d stay here again!

Wonderful stay at Robbins Nest Lane
Overall our stay was amazing at this cabin. The new construction feel and the open living room/kitchen was just wonderful to spend time in. Our mornings were welcomed with sun shining into the living area with a great view of Saddleback Lake. The fireplace was a joy for us since we don't have one at home and we made a fire every night. The kitchen was very spacious and well equipped for our needs. We can't say enough good things about our stay here and we can't wait to come back.

Great Ski Camp
Excellent accommodations for a base camp for a week at Saddleback. The updated house offered plenty of space and amenities for a family of four and was conveniently located near Saddleback Mountain and the town of Rangeley. The fireplace was perfect after a long day of skiing. While the basement offered a great separate space to watch TV or movies, it was a bit too removed from the rest of the house to be used much. Bedding was comfortable and included linens made for one less thing to pack. View of the mountain from the shore was a nice touch!

A cabin full of light & peace
This new cabin is full of light! It's very comfortable and, a bit surprising since neighboring cabins are nearby, very quiet. The lake is a stone's throw away; can you can walk there barefoot. Good kitchen, with plenty of space to work.Ceiling fan keeps things cool at night. We would be happy to return here again next year.
Based on our research for a Cabin to stay at while visiting our daughter in Maine this one is a Jewel. Our trip was in the winter. The Cabin is beautiful and the location and view cant be beat. The wood burning fireplace was enjoyed by all. Plenty of wood supplied along with kindling. My few critiques are that the furniture was very uncomfortable. The Living space area needs a comfortable sofa and a couple of comfortable easy chairs. The rocking chairs are a nice touch and the padded stools were our life saver as they were the only place to sit that had any comfort at all. The kitchen needs a cookie pan and individual knives. The steps need a railing.
With snow and ice on the steps it was a little dangerous going up and down. This just cant be to code. With all of that said it is a lovely cabin and we would go back because the view was amazing. It just would have been nice to have a some comfort factors. The Property Management people were wonderful to work with. This property is very convenient to things to do and places to eat in Rangeley.

A Jewel
Robbins Nest Lane is a perfectly appointed, renovated cottage on Saddleback Lake.
The aesthetics are relaxing, and the view of the lake wonderful. The kitchen has everything and is brand new. The cottage is 10min from Saddleback.
I can't say enough about Morton and Furbish. They are extremely accommodating and always ready to help.
