Book this 5-star two bedroom, two bathroom townhome located at Eagle Lodge at the prestigious slopeside community of Eagle Run for your ultimate mountain getaway. The living room is light and bright with natural light and those stunning views, featuring a comfy couch with pull-out sofabed, cozy gas fireplace, large flatscreen TV, and dining with seating for 6. Hardwood floors throughout add to the beauty and charm of this luxury property. A private washer and dryer means no wet ski clothes in the morning.

The kitchen has all of the appliances and amenities including granite counters, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove, oven and dishwasher. Everything you need to make a nice family dinner after a fun-filled day of skiing and riding on the mountain. The master bedroom features a comfy King bed, flatscreen TV and en-suite full bathroom with double vanity. The second bedroom is perfect for the kids with a bunk bed featuring a Twin on top and Double on bottom, also with flatscreen TV, and a shared hallway bathroom.

All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This Eagle Run complex has underground garage parking (garage clearance is 8' 2") and an outdoor hot tub. This condo sleeps a maximum of 5 people and comes with one assigned parking spot with additional guest parking on a first come, first serve basis. Guests will be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. There is an elevator from garage to condo, this unit is all on one level and access is from ground level (no steps), no smoking or pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. We were an adult couple and single adult, we stayed three days in February. The house was fabulous it suited our needs exactly, the slopes were a quick walk to the end of the building. We look forward to staying again. I highly recommend it.

We have stayed at several condos in Mammoth Lakes, and this one is by far the best for several reasons. Clean, kitchen well stocked for food preparation, and the location is desirable for skiers. There was a comment about the mattresses in a previous review. Not a problem, mattresses are in good shape. The condo should be a 10 out of 10. We will look to stay there again.

Great location and clean

Great location and clean. Ski in and ski out. Front door lock is a little weird. Expect your first night to be cold waiting for the heaters to warm the place up.

Quiet location and nice views

Overall we loved our 4 night stay. The view was wonderful and the the space for two was perfect. I gave the check in a 3 star because the front door had a key entry and you had to pick up the key from the rental company and drop it off as well. Guess we are spoiled with the touch key process and going straight to your rental. Also the front door was difficult to open. I did hear the same complaint on other reviews. The back balcony door was also hard to lock. Otherwise everything was perfect -it was clean & comfortable - the location was quiet and view was nice.

The only place we want to stay...

Reviewer Comments: We have been fortunate enough to stay here twice, once in the winter and once in early fall.In the winter, the ski in/out access is impossible to beat. In the fall, we enjoyed hiking the slopes and driving to many nearby lakes for hiking as well. The bathrooms and showers are incredible, they look newly re-done. Very comfortable beds and furniture, does not feel like a rental at all. Floorplan is perfect for cooking meals and spending time with friends and family. I especially enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying the spectacular mountain views, watching the moon rise over the horizon. Clean, well maintained, plenty of utensils/pots/pans etc. Very easy access to parking spot in the garage. Great customer service from the rental company. I can't think of anything I would change, looking forward to staying again!

Stay away from Mammoth reservations

This regarding the inadequacy of the unit to heat up. It was so bad we left after the first night of a 3 night rental. Never heard anything back from management company. Needless to say we will never stay here again or use the management services

Clean, great location, but some issues

Overall, was a good stay, the place was very clean and great location, but we did encounter some issues: 1. The master bed mattress was incredibly soft, to the point that I was sinking and rolling off the bed. I am a healthy 6ft 3in and 185lb guy, so not so much a personal issue, but one more with the mattress. 2. The water heater - it was either set at too low a temperature or old, we had issues with getting warm showers. We consider ourselves water-wise and take 5 minute showers, but found it was just not enough hot water for a water conscious family of four. 3. The ice maker in the refrigerator didn’t function. 4. We had some noise issues with the upstairs tenants, who were very kind and apologetic, but nevertheless - it made for a rough night. 5. Property management team failed to include the garage code. Also you have to exit your vehicle and manually enter the code to gain entry every time to get into the property structure. No garage door opener/FOB was provided.

Hello and thank you for your review of this property. We appreciate the comments and will certainly look into the mattress, and the refrigerator ice maker. The boilers are central to the whole building so we will also follow up with the property managers to see if there is anything that can be done to raise the temperature. The garage code is in the check-in documents, point #6 so just a little bit more reading required. You are correct that no garage opener or FOB is provided, there are no remotes for these types of garages. We will certainly again mention the suggestion to the property manager. Thanks again for your review and don't forget on your next visit to use the returning guest discount. UPDATE: The mattress has now been replaced with a brand new mattress.

Eagle Run Ski In - Ski Out

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very nice, very clean and comfortable. We always enjoy staying at Eagle Run because of the ski in, ski out aspect. We love the location. The bed in the main bedroom needs a new mattress, it's very soft with a lump in the middle. The owners keep the ski closet locked, so there isn't anywhere to keep skis, except for bringing them inside once they're dry. The only other thing I think I should mention is that in the winter, it wouldn't be a good unit if you have someone that is handicapped as the walkway to get to unit from elevator was covered with snow, so we had to bring the luggage cart to the end of the garage and carry everything upstairs to the unit. If the management of the property was able to clear the walkway all the way to the far units, that would be very helpful.

Condo access difficult

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice condo with an awesome view. But the ski-in ski-out was more like climb in and climb out. First the elevator didn’t access the condo. We had to carry everything to the condo and climb a flight of stairs to do so. Then you had to climb a snow bank with all your ski equipment to ski. I fell with my equipment at the end of the day trying to get to the sidewalk from the slopes down the bank of snow. Local maintenance personnel need to rectify this hazard. Also there was a lot of ice on the sidewalk to and in front of the front door.

My only issue was the bed in the master bedroom. If a soft bed is a problem for you, this may factor into your stay. I would highly recommend replacing this bed. The mattress is old and uncomfortable. There is a memory foam thin mattress that has been placed on top trying to makeup for the bed but this only adds to the discomfort.For the money that is being charged for this top notch rental, it should have comfortable beds. Please consider making the investment to make this worth the money being charged.We love this location and this unit. Our wishes are for a great night sleep in a beautiful unit and location.

Wonderful

This unit was wonderful. It was clean, well kept and has a beautiful view. This is an end unit so it felt very private and I like that it has its own outside entrance verses entering from a hotel style hallway. Underground parking and hot tub were convenient and close to unit. We will definitely stay here again.

Great summer stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. I loved the location on the hillside with good views and nice breezes moving through the unit. Plenty of piece and quiet as well (except our kids on occasion). The unit is pretty tight/small but was fine for us. It's in pretty good shape with nice sofas, dining table, and decor and art on the wall (I liked the different animal portraits). The kitchen appliances are dated. Run the dishwasher when your out if you can - it's loud :-) The kitchen could use some stocking (I let the property manager know). The boys liked the bunk room. The master bed has a really soft/sinking memory foam mattress. Not enough support for me but I still slept. Good hot tub only about 30-40 yards from your door.Fun times! We miss Mammoth already.
