LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1500 sq ft home with living room, TV, ceiling fan, dining table, bar seating, a beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Downstairs first bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom has a queen bed. Third bedroom has two twin beds and a futon bed. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Full kitchen with Knotty Adler cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, stove/oven, double door refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Game room with foosball table! Smart TVs, streaming apps along with fast WiFi. Board games and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace.

OUTDOORS - Patio furniture, picnic table and gas barbecue. Enjoy the serene front yard or spacious back yard with stunning lake views! This property does not offer a boat dock.

Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Wash all dishes.

At first the directions of the place was 456 had to reach out and then I was send the address of 482. It was hassle because I thought it was 456. And lots of spiders and I mean lots. Can tell it wasn’t clean for a while. But overall I enjoyed my stay

Cozy Getaway!

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed and lake view and the quiet setting. Morning coffee watching the ducks, pelicans and cranes was a great start to the day! It is decorated just right for a "rustic" cabin feel, but with all the modern amenities; making for a great stay. Kitchen and bathrooms are beautiful. Looking forward to a return visit later in the year.

Cute cabin by the lake

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The location right by the water is beautiful to look out on from the kitchen and upstairs bedrooms. Enjoyed being able to use the fireplace and fooseball table. Close to shops and food but not in the middle of it all. Communication was clear and timely. The initial forms and permissions beforehand were a bit much, but I also understand why when you’re near residents.

Clean, beautiful, and comfortable

The home is clean, beautiful, and very comfortable. The only downside is that the lake has dried up so much that it's a bit of a hike to get to it. But even still, we enjoyed it nonetheless! Would definitely return.

Lakefront Cabin

Vacationed in Big Bear with our adult children. It is a nice, up to date cabin with a dock and all amenities, in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We particularly loved that we were able to just step out the back porch and kayak right off the dock all week. I rated it 4 stars because the mattresses were to firm for us and the coffee maker took over 2 hours to brew. (Need a new coffee maker) We also liked that it is a short drive to the village.

Ruined trip

This review is for Cool Cabins and not for Mallard cabin. We did not book a reservation for Mallard but instead we were eventually provided with this cabin when our actual cabin was not safe to stay in upon our arrival. Although Cool Cabins said they were "very sorry" they put the blame on the cabin owner and said they had nothing to do with it. Although we rented a lakefront cabin, Cool Cabins initially tried putting us in a condo as a replacement and only after speaking with a manager did they provide an actual cabin. Unfortunately this was not comparable to what we rented and it ruined our trip. The rental agreement is a contract, they failed to meet their contractual obligation and we will be taking them to court. Will not use Cool Cabins again, would not recommend.
