Wallace River Retreat is an enchanting private and peaceful escape set just 1 hour from Seattle in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains at Stevens Pass. This stunning property is a MUST SEE- photos just can't convey the tranquility and unique detail. The fully fenced 1 1/3 acre features a large hot tub, fire pit, mossy trails, fruit trees, towering conifers, hand carved art around every corner and private Wallace River access. The riverside studio offers a cozy place for musicians to gather- instruments provided! – or a meditative morning reflection. The 3-bedroom home was fully remodeled in Nov 2020, with guest comfort in mind, creating the perfect place for family and friends to enjoy what is sure to be an annual getaway full of magic and memories!

What a beautiful and LARGE property! All 4 of us ladies were super cozy on the couch together as well as in our rooms and the hot tub. We were so shocked at how large the property was! Which gave us plenty of outside time and by the river, which was so wonderful.

Gorgeous property

We had a incredible time on this property we had 4 adults 2 toddlers and 2 dogs and everyone had a blast. The property had everything we needed and was just perfect for a incredibly relaxing weekend for our 2 little families.

Great cabin!!

Such a cozy and fun cabin! The location was perfect and the property was so pretty. We really enjoyed the hot tub and games provided. Would stay here again!!

Our group loved the home and property. The entire property is massive with plenty of fun things to do and a fully fenced yard which allowed our dogs to be off leash and enjoy the space too!

Just what we needed

We were only there for 3 days and 2 nights but every time we turned around we found a new place to enjoy. Our youngest were in the music studio for hours on end. Cornhole and hot tub were well used. This place was just as advertised maybe more so!

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and has a nice hot tub and fire pit. For a relatively small house, the bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size. I would stay here again for a weekend getaway not far from Seattle.

Love this property!

Amazing property

We stayed at Wallace River Retreat for 3 days and it was amazing! So peaceful and relaxing, everything was clean and well stocked. By far the most unique and beautiful property I've been to. We plan on returning again soon.

Amazing surrounding.

We had a very good time at the house and thoroughly enjoyed the river that is just steps away. Our dogs loved the yard and the access to water. The house is clean, well-kept, and the AC was definitely a plus during a hot summer stay!

Riverside oasis

This riverside oasis is the best place to be. We watched humming birds, a beautiful raven, played board games, enjoyed the Gary Larson books, dipped our toes in the river and began our mornings walking the property. It is so lovely, relaxing, expertly well appointed and has something everyone can enjoy. This place is a treasure.

Best place to stay for a family

Wonderful inside and outside. Very scenic, river adjacent was beautiful. Lots of activities were provided (lawn games, a music "jam" room [as we dubbed it], DVDs for the kids). House didnt' feel to "old", kitchen and bathrooms appeared updated and more modern.

Great escape

Great property and quality details throughout. Neighbors are a bit closer than expected, but a very tranquil getaway with with fantastic amenities. Our young boys loved all the outdoor space and music room!

Relaxing Retreat

Our stay at the Wallace River Retreat was amazing. It was our first trip away during this pandemic and it was just perfect. We went hiking on a nearby trail, rocked out with the instruments, hung out in the hot tub and played board games. The river was gorgeous and the owners thought of everything in the cozy house. It was just the getaway that we needed.
