The Palm House is a fresh & comfortable upper duplex for couples or singles seeking relaxation, complete privacy with a short stroll to everything Terrigal has to offer. This tranquil space has a private entrance, dedicated off street parking and a large outdoor deck surrounded by a tropical terraced garden. The internal spaces are bright and airy with high ceilings and a well equipped kitchenette.

The Space:

Like a home away from home, The Palm House is a great base for local adventures and a relaxing or romantic weekend away. Enjoy a restful sleep in a high quality queen sized bed with luxurious linen and drift off to the not too distant sound of the waves crashing on the shore. Morning birds will be your alarm and within a short 8 minute stroll you will find yourself in main street Terrigal.

The interiors are light, bright and airy and have been styled with a Tropical Boho theme using a playful colour palette and interesting, eclectic pieces collected along the way.



The Neighborhood:

Terrigal is a vibrant coastal suburb on the Central Coast of New South Wales, renowned for its long sandy beach, iconic Skillion headland, and lively seaside village atmosphere. It’s a popular destination for swimming, surfing, dining, and shopping, with a mix of cafés, restaurants, boutique shops, and markets catering to both locals and visitors.



The suburb combines a relaxed beach lifestyle with convenience, offering parks, a surf life-saving club, and easy access to nearby suburbs like Wamberal, Avoca Beach, and Erina. Its mix of modern apartments, beachside homes, and holiday rentals makes it attractive to families, professionals, and holidaymakers alike.

Getting Around:

Palm house has its own off street parking space. The beach is a 7 min walk away however Terrigal topography can be hilly.



Other Things to Note:

Coast Hosting is a professional hosting company and will ask you to provide a digital copy of your ID prior to arrival. These details are required via a secure, online Guest Check in Form and the details are stored safely.



We also require a refundable security bond of $200, which will be held for the duration of your stay to cover any potential damages. This will be released within 7 days after your departure, provided there are no issues.

You will be asked to provide your card details via the same secure online check-in form. These details are encrypted and securely processed through the Stripe payment gateway.



We are governed by and fully comply with strict privacy laws, and your details will not be shared or retained.

Great little property for a getaway!

My partner and I loved our little staycation at this property! It is well equipped with everything you need and has a relaxing vibe to it. Great little balcony for lazing about and a very comfortable lounge and bed inside. Perfect for a couple looking for a little getaway and only minutes to the main drag of Terrigal.

Property was fine except no extra blankets - and it was cold with just a light doona. Also need to fix light going down steep uneven stairs in the dark -it was difficult to see!

Enjoyed our stay at the property. Inside of the place was lovely and clean. Was surprised to find that the entrance to the property was down steep stone stairs. We couldn’t find any mention of this on the property information or photos. Our old dog enjoyed joining us in the property but struggled getting in to and out of the property. Also no grass or location for the dog to go to the bathroom. The living room TV also didn’t operate. Messaged the owner who noted they would attempt to fix the issue but had no follow up. Good experience overall aside from these issues.

The last 2 days were just what I needed to top up my cup for the weeks ahead. Very tranquil quiet location, beautiful beaches and cafes within 10 mins walk and the apartment was just perfect with a lovely gift basket in arrival. Nothing to improve on here

Fabulous! Gorgeous accommodation- very quaint and private. Lovely welcome pack on our arrival. Really appreciated the pet provided dog bowls as we forgot to bring ours! Our greyhound loved the stay too! Thanks Lane and Dan- will be sure to stay again!

This place is lovely which makes the poor communication with the owner puzzling. Everything looked beautiful and the house was very clean, however there were no instructions re the two TV’s, neither of which worked. We sent a text to the owner the day we arrived asking for assistance with that, and the next morning I received a return phone call. it was agreed we would try again to get them to work, and if we couldn’t, would ring and the owner would come and ‘walk us through’ how to use them. So, we did that-they still didn’t work. So we rang and left two messages, but there was no response. We left the next day without once meeting our hosts.

Great spot for a getaway

We loved our 6 nights here. We stayed between Christmas and New Year, perhaps the busiest time in Terrigal, but the Palm House is away from the hectic main drags but still close enough to the beaches and all the other things you want.

Quirky little spot, perfect for a couple's coastal getaway. Can be a bit of a walk to the main area of Terrigal, but it's quite a nice walk, especially the seaside promenade part.

Not quite what I expected

Upon arrival I was shocked to see the stairs I had to navigate to reach the front door.‘ very steep. Carrying my suitcase, frozen food for myself and my dog to last 5 days. Barely any railings to hold onto. Also very disappointed to see there was no microwave, as mentioned in the online information. An oven, which meant I had to thaw everything in the oven...very inconvenient. A ‘short stroll to the beach and shops’ is what attracted me to the property. Well I was halfway down the enormous hill when I realised I had a huge walk coming back up several very large hills. I had to drive to beach and shops. The house itself was lovely, comfortable etc. Certainly not suitable for a mature woman and her little dog.

Hi Sandra. Thank you again for the feedback. It is disappointing to read your review as we have had in excess of 30 guests all of which have rated the property a 5 stars. The PALM HOUSE ad references steps to the front door as does the photo sent the day prior to your check-in so confused about why you were so shocked to find stairs. Unfortunately we are unable to alter the topography of Terrigal which is majority built on hills and again the advertisement references a stroll 'down the hill' to the beach which is in fact 800m away. The property has a convection oven which features a re-heating function as well as a baking and grilling function for food. Your displease with our property was apparent by the way in which you left it with stained and now unusable tea towels ( with what looked like dog feces ) used tissues left around and an unflushed toilet. Despite this we have taken your feedback on board.

Great getaway

Loved our stay & would definitely recommend it. Beautifully decorated place, very comfortable lounge & bedroom, nice bathroom & amenities provided & towels are fluffy. The kitchenette & Weber bbq is good for simple meal preparation. We took our small dog & loved it. There are residents living underneath the apartment, it is a quiet area at the top of a hill with peaceful surrounds of nature.

Peaceful and Private

All check-in details were easy to read and follow through. The property is well-appointed with everything you’d need in a getaway break. Alexa was even there to welcome us with mood music. The bottle of wine was a lovely extra touch.

Lovely place for a couple and their dog.

Laney and Dan's is a cute, clean and comfortable place for a couple to stay with their fur baby. Correspondence was swift, friendly and informative with Laney, and there was also a little information pack left which helped us out and had some good tips during our stay. The linen and couch are all very comfortable and the kitchenette has everything you need for two people. It's a bit of a hilly walk into Terrigal but the outlook on the back deck amongst all the trees is lovely. It's also a good spot for a quick drive over to some beautiful Dog-friendly surf beaches at North Avoca and McMasters. Would thoroughly recommend staying there!

Just wonderful, really bright and Laney has created a great comfort feel to the palm house!

In a great location, quiet and bright, Wifi was great and balcony and deck were terrific!! Would recommend to anyone!
