Amazing beach home

The best beach vacations that we have ever had in Florida. Beach was amazing, was never crowded. We would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Pelican Palms. We absolutely love Indian Pass and the weather was perfect. We really like having 3 king size beds. The bunk room is great but we didn’t use it on this trip. Pool right on the beach is my favorite part of the house. Super easy beach access.

Family Vacation with all adult children

This was a great week for our family! Spacious house, great main floor for large family gathering without sitting on top of each other, super views of the ocean and dunes on all levels. Little quirks with property were communicated to management and worked out quickly and perfectly. THANK YOU! Location to beach, having pool and hot tub, preservations nearby to explore, great Indian Pass Raw Bar to visit, early morning bike rides, privacy and quiet and the amazing beach helped make this trip a perfect mix. We truly were able to enjoy quality family time at this spot. It's a re book for us. Thank You!

We loved being able to sit at the pool and still see the ocean when the water was to rough to get in the ocean. Very private location. The only complaint is that the kitchen needs new knives. They were very dull. Hard to even slice limes. Great home with lots of space for 2 families.

Beautiful get away!

This property and beach were a perfect stay for 2 families of 5. Upon check in there were a couple small issues which were handled right away by Cape & Coast. However, we did reach out on multiple occasions to have the pocket door fixed which lead into the bathroom from the master bedroom and no one ever came despite stating they were sending someone out right away (true disappointment and this is why we gave the property 4 stars). The house was spacious, the pool was perfect for the kids and the hot tub was a wonderful addition at night to watch the stars! Its was a simple walk onto the beach which was perfect. We built multiple bonfires, saw a loggerhead turtle, baby shark, stingray, many fish and swam for hours in the ocean. Bring your permanent markers or paint as there are pillars in the ocean from an old pier which you can take a palm tree frond, paint it with your own markings, and nail it up with others who have traveled through! Thank you for a wonderful week of memories!

Can't beat the location for a relaxing vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Pelican Palms. Everyone that I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic. We basically had the beach to ourselves all week. However, there is not much in the area on a rainy day. The layout of the house was great for our 3 generations. We had everything we could need in the kitchen. The house was pretty clean. Our only issue was some candy wrappers between the mattresses and walls, and some sand and trash under the beds. The outside yard needed some clean up. The pool needs some attention as the bottom and walls are very rough. We had lots of cuts and scrapes from it. Despite the rough surfaces we enjoyed the pool and the beach. It was too much work to load the kids up to drive a good distance for other attractions or restaurants. While we very much enjoyed our week at the house, we look forward to trying a different property in the future.

Honest review from frequent VRBO renters

The upgrades needed for a 5 instead of 4 star review. Everything was excellent except the things listed below: 1. Living room sofa and chairs are broken down and not comfortable, need replacing. 2. Dining table and chairs are very uncomfortable. It’s not the style, when eating you have to bend way over and you can barely fit your legs under table( my 6’-5” son in law could not fit his legs under table) and your feet can’t touch the ground while seated, without shoes, your feet will hurt. Style is fine, a normal table and chairs of normal height would be a wonderful addition. In short they used the wrong height chairs, just replace chairs, keep same style. 3. Kitchen faucet leaks, replace. 4. Outdoor water hose was very cheap and had multiple holes, could not use to spray anything off, replace. 5. Outdoor shower is only plumed for hot water, please add cold. That’s it. Beautiful house, location, bedroom decor, etc. would have to replace my changes above to rent there again.

Peaceful

The property was just as described and we were very pleased with the home, pool and closeness to the beach. We love Indian Pass and the serenity of the area. Boutique shopping in Port St Joe and Apalachicola was fun!

Dirty pool

House was fine. Kitchen well stocked and lots of outdoor furniture. However the pool was dirty on arrival , website said it would be cleaned Tuesday or Wednesday but no one came . I called on Thursday and on Friday and was told both times someone would be out that day. No one came the entire week to clean the pool. It was too dirty to swim the lady 3 days we were there.

Just What the Doctor Ordered

This is a luxurious property with fabulous views from all three deck areas and it's directly on the beach. The pool is inviting and well maintained. There were a couple of minor housekeeping issues which were addressed very quickly. Put your feet up and prepare to relax. The fact that it is pet friendly earns it a sixth star.

The house was clean and a good location from the beach.One major issue - the sliding glass door to the deck was difficult to open and impossible for a child to open. maintenance did come to check it - said he would return but did not - later found out a part needed to be ordered.The oven was not working properly - needed to increase the temp and the time. Cook ware not in good condition.pool and hot tube - very nice.

Perfect!

The house was just as pictured. Rooms spacious, beds comfortable. It was really nice to have 3 king beds for the adults. My Grandkids loved the bunk room. The common area was very spacious for our family of ten. The kitchen worked well and the seating was great for out crowd. It was so easy to be on the beach and the private pool was wonderful. Views from the house were amazing! Quiet, peaceful , and overall relaxing week. Just one thing I would replace is some of the pots in the kitchen. The non-stick surface was worn on some of the pots, not the healthiest to cook on when that surface is worn. Cape and coast were wonderful to work with ! We hope to return to this property for many more beach vacations.

Beautiful Location

We enjoyed our stay. Although we worked while at the beach, it was a beautiful place to work from. Walking along the shore was peaceful and calming. The house was bright and cheerful, just what we needed in the middle of winter.

Wonderful Family Get Away

The house was fabulous with all the amenities needed to provide privacy for individual families as well as a great common area and a very user friendly kitchen! We had the pool heated and were pleasantly surprised with the hot tub. Being right on the beach with beautiful views from the house was more than we could have asked for! Cape and Coast were very responsive to our calls and sent someone right away when had issues with the pool and resolved those issues quickly. The house was spotless when we arrived and was easily maintained with the hard surface flooring throughout the house. To make things better, we were able to bring our dogs who loved their beach walks and ocean swims! We hope to return to this location again soon!

Paradise Palms lives up to its name

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Paradise Palms is the perfect home for multiple families. The photos are not altered for visual impact. The house sits right on the open beach. A new home has been constructed to the right but still very private and isolated. Three bedrooms have a King size bed with private bath. The forth bedroom has 6 well appointed bunk beds - 4 are twin size and 2 are double size - and a large private bath. We have stayed at many beach vacation rentals through the years and this one was the cleanest ever. The kitchen was stocked with more cookware and small appliances than I have ever seen in a rental. A few items were needed but Cape and Coast brought those over immediately. Our only complaint is that the management staff who came to or into the home while we were there did not wear a face covering (if you are reading this we are in the midst of COVID-19). The home also desperately needs a lamp or two in the living area. The can lights are abundant with dimmers but the bulbs installed (throughout the entire house) do not dim.

Great Vacation Location!

Great home for 3 families. Cleanliness was concerning. 3 of the 6 kids beds had sand on the sheets and we ended up washing all bedding on the first night. Dishwasher was sub-par, but they were able to send someone out to fix. The pool heater was not working and two calls were made and a part was ordered. Unfortunately it was not fixed while we were there. Perfect location right on the beach. Beautiful home.
