We were DOUBLED BOOKED we were turned away and had no alternate accomodation.Not Family Friendly photos of the surrounding property area need to be added for transpearency Apparently this accommodation is on 5 platforms ring and double check your booking dates ! defiantly google map before you book

An adventure to remember.

It was brief but interesting. The outside area more than rustic. Lack of window covering for warmth and privacy. Not the usual bedding. No water till we helped find an extention cord for pump. Hard to know whos rules to follow, hope we managed to do everyones.

Homely at Horotiu

E mihi ana ki te whānau o tēnei whare. E rongo ana ki te aroha e whakatō ana ki roto. Amazing whare for the night, very homely and spacious it exceeded our expectations. If we have any future events to attend in Hamilton we will definately book this place. A few things to improve on are: -Water wasn't working on arrival -Workers that live onsite were in the house on arrival trying to fix the internet - Tried ringing the cellphone number on the information cards left on the counter but it went straight to answering machine. Needed to make contact with someone as the water wasn't working on arrival. Luckily someone was home next door who got it working. Thank you te Whānau Tangata-Terekia for your homely whare. check out our Horotiu Homestead Facebook page and you will also see our reviews, we have a new awning out the front to enjoy the outdoor setting. Everyone that comes here absolutely LOVES it and it really caters for everyone in just being together. So Sports teams like the Fijian League teams, creative Artist, influences and birthdays have all been held here, where they keep coming back. We are only 7 min drive to the Biggest Shopping Centre here in Hamilton called The Base and about 17min to Town. And yet we are in a Country space and feel with town around the corner.
