We stayed four nights with four adults and were quite comfortable. The space was nice, the facilities were good (pool, hot tub, parking), the beach was beautiful. We usually stay in the panhandle area so I was surprised by how quiet the surf was (you could not hear it from our balcony on the 2nd floor) and by the quantity of shells littering the water’s edge. The top layer of the beach itself was mostly shells, or broken down pieces, so we walked with shoes on until our toes hit the water and hard packed sand. We would have benefitted from a cookie sheet or two. We fashioned one out of layers of aluminum foil. Because one of us is Celiac we usually travel with foil to cover existing pans, but there were only pots. Just a note that the shower water pressure is impressive. We loved it. You could take paint off with it. That said, the sink water pressure was more of a trickle. I would rather it be this way than the reverse. We bought bottled water for drinking but I mixed Crystal Light with sink water and it was fine. I don’t think you need bottled water. (Some places in Florida have a distinct chemical flavor, not so much here.)Publix is within walking distance, which was handy. We ate at HaleLife (GF restaurant/bakery) and Snapper’s Grill. Both were excellent if you happen to be gluten free. We went shark tooth diving with Venice Beach’s Fossil Junkies, and visited The Florida Aquarium and The Sunken Gardens. All were great!
