Come relax in our fully equipped villas in the heart of Santa Teresa, just steps from the best surf in Costa Rica. Villa Papaya, one of 4 villas at Villas Solar, is a 2 bedroom house that suites 2 couples or a family. Relax in the hammock on the private patio overlooking the garden of bananas, starfruit and papayas.
Our property is gated with a caretaker that lives onsite. We offer parking, wifi, tv, ac, a communal rancho with bbq. We are centrally located to many restaurants such as Soda Bosque and and Soda Pura vida, Kina Surf Shop is directly in front of Villas Solar, and we are just a 3 min walk to the supermarket and most importantly the beach with the best waves in the are by far for surfing.

Perfect Santa Teresa Beach Access

Although we’re not surfers this property is perfect for what Santa Teresa has to offer. The compound is a real oasis just a block from beach access. We had everything that we needed and plenty of room for two couples. Greg’s property manager was ill during our stay but Greg made a point of checking on our stay and helped us locate good local restaurants and pointed us in the right direction for yoga. The perfect way to end our Costa Rican vacation. Luna, the compound dog, is a real sweetheart.

Santa Teresa - great location & living space

Villa Papaya is an excellent location - only a few minutes walk to the beach and close to everything (restaurants, groceries, shops, ice cream, ...). We rented surfboards on our walk to the beach and enjoyed the great waves every day. Greg was an excellent host and the property care taker was available if we had any questions. The house itself is laid out very nice with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms to give our family of 4 plenty of space. Air conditioners in the bedrooms and main living space cooled the house quickly when we returned back to the house. Thank you Greg. We had an excellent stay and the kids loved Luna :) TJ

Comfortable and Convenient

Greg was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The villa was comfortable and conveniently located. Woke to singing birds and howling monkeys in the morning. Perfect.

Perfectly situated in Playa Santa Teresa with easy access to the beach and waves. Surf shops and quality restaurants nearby. Greg was easy to deal with and the properties were really clean.

Everything was great! Nice , quiet place!

Nice accommodation, everything we need. Place to park, caretakers on site and Greg was very helpful even with our activites. Excellent option if you stay in Santa Teresa, close to everything.
