Avalon 1202 is a beautiful two bedroom/two bath, 12th floor condominium at The Beach Club, which is a luxury resort located on an endless stretch of sugar white sand beach on the Fort Morgan Peninsula in the Gulf of Mexico. The Beach Club offers a relaxed, but sophisticated beach resort atmosphere with impressive amenities.

You will be amazed by the balcony and living room views of the Southern Alabama coastline, 5 pools, grounds and dolphins, too! The sunsets are dramatic!

The interior features soft seaside colors and decor, granite, stainless full appliances, beautiful tile, carpeted bedrooms, 3 HDTVs, 3 DVD players, WIFI, a king master bedroom with a private adjoining bath, twin guest beds, a sofa sleeper.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. There is a stack washer/dryer in the utility closet. The beds, sofa, kitchen and bath linens are provided along with adequate kitchen and bath amenities designed only for the guest's first night needs.

Without any additional fees, you will have access the pool, hot tub and restrooms at the foot of the tower, plus access to the boardwalks, playground, basketball courts, charcoal grills and tram services. Additionally, you may patron the salon and fine dining restaurant and bar, with gulf view, at the clubhouse, and you may patron the sports bar & grill with an arcade, beach & apparel shop, coffee and ice cream shops near the entrance of the resort.

You may have access to The Clubhouse's private amenities with a daily fee of approximately $30.00 per day which covers your entire party. Upon arrival, you could request a tour of the Club's amenities and schedule of event during your stay and pay only for the days you choose, if any. The Clubhouse's private amenities include: Luxurious separate Ladies & Gentle-men's locker rooms with saunas, showers and a changing area, a fitness center with a gulf view, an indoor pool with a gulf view, a beach side pool with seasonal entertainment and a Tiki bar & Grill, a game room, children's activities, tennis courts.

Beach loungers with umbrellas, beach rental equipment, parasailing and other seasonal activities are available at the club, but is separate from the daily fee mentioned above.

Booking and arriving will be so easy! You can expect an email prior to your arrival stating everything you need to know while there and what to bring, plus a door code.

Last Minute Beach Trip Before School August 2025

Overall, it was super chill, super relaxing, and just a really great time. I’d 100% go back again. Highly recommend if you just want to unwind and enjoy the beach/pools. We spent most of the time just relaxing, swimming, and going to the village. The resort was clean, well kept, A1202 was just as pictured. The property manager was on point, quick responses to any questions.

What a beautiful view from the large balcony! The condo was immaculate, and the property has everything you need there. I enjoyed the beach, pool, and hot tub. The resteraunts had delicious food and friendly service. The perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

Loved the condo. Clean and inviting. Great views of the Gulf. Spacious unit, comfortable master bed, great water pressure in bathrooms. The Beach Club is about a 15 minute drive from town, but it’s worth it. The beach is amazing. Soft white sand, nice shallow water. Could see the rays swimming along the coast from the balcony. Pool was very nice as well. Looking forward to visiting again.

Ultimate Family Vacation

My family and I could not say nough about how wonderful this condo is. The decor and furnishings are stylish, high end yet practical. MY husband and I stayed here with our two boys and everybody loved the amenities on the property as well. Everyone felt very at home, the Wi-fi, the televisions, the appliances were all excellent quality. The staff at the resort as well as the staff the various excursions were very friendly, helpful, and remembered our name each day. The owner very responsive, as well as organized. He has a wonderful team, Pam, that handles onboarding and the logistics flawlessly. Definitely recommend, and we can't wait to come back each year. This is hands down the best annual vacation setup; the beaches are very clean, no seaweed or debris like in Florida. The water is clear and it's warm at the beach; the grounds have a number of wildlife that's exciting to spot with the children. The resort is very safe, we felt comfortable with our kids navigating all of the activities.

Condo was beautiful, beach and pool perfect. However, they do not tell you that if you want to use the fitness center or even enter the beach club they will charge you per diem. If we wanted to use the fitness center, they were going to charge us $36.00 per day!

Excellent Condo With All You Need

After flooding in Texas, our family had to quickly pivot to a new vacation location and found this condo last minute. Our expectations were low- surely this had to be a not-so-great spot for us to nab it just two weeks before we were supposed to leave on vacation. Wow, were we wrong, and so thrilled to be. This condo is an excellent and well-maintained space with all we needed to spend 9 days of rest, renewal and relaxation. We prepared most of our meals on site, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookwear, plates and silverware, with a spacious and new refrigerator. The condo was in a quiet spot with an excellent view, and super easy access to both the beach and the five different pools. Overall we were also impressed with the Beach Club amenities, especially the Activities at the Front Landing Area and the Hideaway Restaurant. As a family of four, we found that we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to, and that was super helpful. Thanks so much for having all we needed for the week!

Resort is very nice, beautiful beach and pool areas! However our condo needed up grades. Specifically the Kitchen.! Pans have handles falling off. So old will not come clean. We read and followed all requirements during our stay. Expected better !!

Relaxing at the beach

I am totally happy with the Beach Club property. The unit was exactly as pictured - very clean and well maintained. This was my first time going to Gulf Shores and I enjoyed it very much. We did spend a lot of time driving to the main shopping area because my daughter wanted something else to eat. We did like the on-site restaurant the Hideaway. Burgers etc. We tried the food trucks but the bugs chased us off the picnic area. Dauphin Island - I am meh on that part of my trip. Hour wait for the ferry. Half hour ride over. We spent about 45 minutes in the estuariam - which is nice. Then ate okay seafood. We drove back the other way and that’s a slow trip through lots of small towns. Runners - forget running on the sand- too soft. There are trails but I never explored them.

This condo was excellent. Stocked with everything we needed. Kitchen and bathrooms have all been updated. Corner balcony gives you view of the ocean and the pool. Balcony is perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the shade!! Resort was also great. We will definitely be back!

We loved everything about this condo! This was our first vacation after COVID. It fit our family of five perfectly. (2 adults, 15 yr, 10 yr, & 6 yr old). The kids loved that they had their own room and everyone had their own beds. We saw dolphins swim by from the beach several times, went searching for ghost crabs on the beach at night, took long walks along the beach, and enjoyed the pools and hot tubs in the evenings. The kitchen was so well stocked that we were able to cook many meals in the condo to save money and stay longer than usual! The washer/dryer and dishwasher were so helpful in keeping up with laundry and dishes! The beds were super comfortable and the balcony had the best view!! We spent many early mornings and late lights listening to the ocean crash onto the beach. We only had one issue … finding the light switch for the balcony lights. We eventually found it in the master bedroom behind the curtain! We felt super safe at the Beach Club and everyone was so friendly. The elevators are super fast! Definitely will be visiting again!

The pictures that are posted on VRBO do NOT justify how BEAUTIFUL and SPACIOUS this place truly is !! The master bedroom with patio access was the best ! Some construction still going on but wasn’t hindering us from our room view and or beach access !! Definitely will be staying here again !
