About this property
Sunset Serenity - lake view hot tub! Private Lake Access
Treat yourself to pure relaxation in the outdoor hot tub, soaking in the fresh air and starry skies—serenity at its finest. Inside, the tastefully decorated spaces create a cozy beach cottage vibe, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the season's beauty.
Whether you're basking in the warmth of the hot tub or enjoying the cozy ambiance indoors, Sunset Serenity is your perfect escape.
INSIDE
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room frame out those incredible lake views and bathe the space in natural light. When it's too dark to enjoy the views, turn your attention to the living room's SmartTV or just enjoy good old fashioned conversation around the gas fireplace.
Start your day in the eat-in kitchen enjoying a delicious breakfast and incredible lake views. The fully-stocked kitchen has everything you need to create all your family favourites, with full-size appliances and plenty of counter space. Plus, the front porch houses a propane gas grill for easy meals.
OUTSIDE
Those incredible lake views continue outside on the covered patio where you can enjoy dazzling sunsets with a cold drink in the Muskoka chairs. If the evenings turn chilly, cozy up with a fire in the wood-burning fireplace. Whether you're looking for your daily dose of vitamin D or prefer your fresh air with plenty of shade, the pretty yard has great spaces with both sun and shade.
Private access, approx 80 stairs lead to a beautiful beaches providing fun day and night. On the way down to the beach, you'll pass a sunset deck, another perfect spot to watch the day end. Down on the beach, splash in the gentle waves, explore the ever-changing sandbars or just soak up the sun during the day. At night, gather around the beach campfire at night with songs, s'mores and stories while you watch the stars come out.
NOTE: This year 2025 we have very little beach.. but it changes everyday depending on lake levels and what the lake pushes up. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
NOTE: There is ongoing construction at the neighboring house. The work is primarily indoors, so noise is minimal, and no construction takes place on weekends.

EXPERIENCE BAYFIELD:
The pace of life slows down in Bayfield. When you vacation here, it's easy to experience each day to its fullest.
Clan Gregor Square is the heart of our quaint community where many local festivals/carshows and you won't want to miss the farmers market in season. Pioneer Park is another local favourite—kids will love cooling down at the splash pad. There's always something happening here, whether it's morning yoga or artists painting the sunset. Wander downtown and find your new favorite cafe, and be sure to save a day to explore Bayfield's wineries and breweries! Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy an amazing wine tasting experience at Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery.
Visit during the off-season to catch favourite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekend—we're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.
With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.
ABOUT YOUR HOST
I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. Now more than ever, everyone is in need of the kind of peace and quiet that escaping to the lake can bring. It's my absolute privilege to be the one to provide families and friends a special place to gather and create memories while exploring an area so near and dear to me.
