The house is fantastic, larger than what it appears on line and great for a large group/family. Our host was excellent in communication, provided some great places to eat, including leaving some tasty goodies. Overall, Beautiful house with lots of room for our group of 6

House was ideal for a family birthday short vacation- very clean-plenty of bedrooms - lovely living area - walking distance to beach and shops-hosts were lovely to deal with and responded to messages straight away- no hesitation in recommending for a large group or Family holiday.

Superb accommodation. This is a very comfortable and well provisioned property. The house is interesting and the garden delightful. It was a treat to spend time in the garden and on the front patio. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The property is well located in Apollo Bay. It was good for a group of five friends travelling together, with shared living spaces and comfortable individual bedrooms. This house will be one of the highlights of our trip.

Great house! Great Location

We stayed here for Melbourne Cup weekend with 3 families. The property was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone and great location. Gift basket on arrival. Amazing house, will be back again.

Amazing clean beautiful house & property, comfy beds, 4 toilets and 3 showers catering to a big group, enough seating at the table for everyone inside and out, games to play, big yard for activities, beautiful welcome gift, loads of extras and small details, only thing that would of made it better is an outdoor fire pit. Would happily go back and recommend it to everyone.

Family weekend in The Bay

Fabulous house. Well appointed. Well positioned. The whole family (ages 3 to 70) enjoyed it. Nice family memories. Would highly recommend. Would have loved co our stay to be longer.

This property was amazing for children and grandchildren. We had a wonderful time. Lots of space inside and lots of ball games outside. It was perfect.

Wonderful

Beautiful house, with little extras. Great kids toys for them to be able to play with. Lovely garden for everyone to be able to sit around in. Great big tables inside and out. Close to town. Our family made some beautiful memories.

Brothers & Sisters in Christ get away

We're happy and enjoyed staying with this property but the only issue is the toilet and shower near the two front rooms, there's no lock.

Hi Cora - we are so glad that you enjoy the property. We completely agree on the need for a privacy lock on that bathroom. It has been on order (to suit the 1920's Art Deco heritage of the house) since last year when we completely rebuilt that bathroom. It is finally expected to arrive in Australia in April! Unfortunately many building products have been delayed given the pandemic. Thanks again for staying with us. We hope to be able to host you again in the future.

every attention to detail

this large house is very well equipped for a relaxing holiday. the attention to detail in all areas is outstanding, from the kitchen with every we could have need (and more) to multiple sitting/relaxing areas to either gather in a group or a quiet space to read. the bedrooms are beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable, the attention to detail the owners have provided is first class.

We adored our stay at SeeApollo, the hosts were very thoughtful to anything the guests may need. The native birds visited the property every morning and we woke to the sound of kookaburras! And the games cupboard was a hit with the family. Especially "Poo Bingo". Cant recommend the property enough.

Family get together

The property was perfect for us as a family from grandparents, daughters, son-in-law’s and grandchildren. There was enough room for us all. The large dining area was great for eating together to playing card games. It was also very convenient for walking to the shops, especially the ice cream shop, Dooley’s Premium Ice Cream, my granddaughter was told by her friends that we had to go there. We also utilised the bbq and outdoor table and chairs as the weather was perfect. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone thinking of holiday in Apollo Bay.

Great mini break

The house was perfect for our long weekend getaway. Our group was a few families and kids of varying ages. The older kids could walk into town by themselves. They all enjoyed playing hide n seek in the house & around the gardens. It was an easy short walk into town to the bakery, brewery, beach, playground. The outdoor area had plenty of chairs and a nice space to sit in & relax in the afternoon. The key access was great, and easy to open up by everyone. We had a great weekend and would throughly recommend

Fantastic get-away

What a fantastic property to catch up with family and friends. The check-in process was easy and clear. The house was stocked with the most fantastic crockery and kitchen stables. We loved the coffee machine and the stocked tea that was made available. The rooms and bathrooms are outstanding, everything in the house was curated with care and extraordinary design insight. There is a games cupboard that the kids and adults loved during our stay. Everything was within walking distance, we walked everywhere despite the rain. In the morning you can hear the Kookaburra's, and the cows and sheep in the field not far from the house. The quality of everything in and outside the house was outstanding. Thank you so much for having us, we hope we will be back in the not-so-distant future.

Old World Style with Modern Living

This property suited our group of 6 couples perfectly for our Xmas in July get together. The older style house has been renovated to provide excellent facilities to suit modern expectations. Easily sleeps 6 couples (and more if needed) and has enough room to relax. Indoor and outdoor seating for all, with large oven, big BBQ, excellent coffee machine and big fridge. We did not need to think about anything other then enjoying ourselves. The gardens on the property are superb and attract a variety of birds with predominately native plants and trees. The house oozes yester-year charm but has great ducted heating that compliments the open fireplace. Put this place on the top of your list if you need accomadation in Apollo Bay!

Sophisticated Gem

Given it was winter, it was wonderful to have open fires, on top of the central heating, and enjoy a red left by our hosts. They have thought of everything and are very generous with their provisioning of the house. The kitchen has every utensil you can think of and more than enough plates and glasses for a large group. It was great to be able to sit together around the dining table. We will definitely be back to enjoy the beautiful outdoor garden in warmer weather. Heaps of places to sit and chat outside and enjoy the view.

They thought of everything!

Chris and Robert are among the most considerate hosts available. We were greeted to a very clean property with a fuss free check-in/check-out process, and a welcome basket upon arrival. The mattresses are all relatively new, meaning we all had a good nights sleep. The kitchen was packed with lots of small goodies, meaning there were less trips for us out to the shops. All this and more adds up to a fuss free and pleasant stay. I wish all hosts were as considerate. Well done guys, keep up the good work.
