Enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, clean, peaceful home during our adventure to Spectrum Mine. All was as advertised, Ron was quick to respond within reasonable time with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you Ron for everything!!
Property was nice, quiet, clean, and comfortable. I was super grateful we'd remembered bug spray as the mosquitos were tenacious. Would stay again if in the area!
Ron was great with communication. We had questions ahead of time and he was sure to get them answered. He let us know before we came that the AC wasn't working but he had scheduled a service technician to come and repair the AC (so we knew ahead of time we wouldn't have AC on the first few nights). Listing is accurate as place is just as described and worked great for our needs! Again, Ron was responsive and good to work with. We would stay here again if in the area!
Great stay in Plush. We loved the privacy at the end of the street and the view. Nice deck and gas grill. Very well stocked kitchen and overall very comfortable and quiet!

Really nice home in the beautiful desert with a great view.
The place was very comfortable and set up really nice. The view was amazing. Nice little group of quails in the mornings. I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling in this area.
The property was spacious and clean. The showers did have hair in them not cleaned out. The Garbage cans on the deck were full and smelling. We transferred it to the larger can by the shop. Probably an easy oversight for the caregiver. The A/C was not working, but we were fine. We opened the windows at night and let te cool breeze in and we gone during the days to the Sunstone fields and to the Hart Mountain Springs. Overal it was a greaat time.We had a great time
Had a great time. Everyone we met in town were inviting and friendly. The house was massive with all the amenities we could want. Crazy clean. The 4 year old loved the selection of kid books and massive bathtub. The cold tap water was pure and glorious. Vrbo said no wifi, but there was wifi.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Consider a different choice
While the owners were quick to communicate with us, their responses to our questions were terse. Also, we didn't appreciate the significant price increase when going from two occupants to four occupants. The place was clean but dated: doors didn't work, towels were grossly stained, shower didn't work, we had to replace the shower head that was plugged up with grit, trim molding missing, dead flies in windowsill, dirty kitchen sponges, etc. We wished we would have selected this other property:

Beautiful Hart Mountain Lodge House
Easy to find. Well cared for home with a nice outdoor patio and creek going through it. Loved a hot shower and home cooked meal in a well stocked kitchen after a couple hard days digging. Nice to find WiFi available.
Great place to stay in this beautifully rural countryside. Please note the booking auto reply initially stated no cell wi fi was available, except down by school. I was pleasantly surprised wi fi available onsite.
My second stay here. Clean, and well equipped with anything you could need. Enjoyed the Antelope Refuge and hot spring. Explored the public sunstone collection area and visited Spectrum sunstone mine. Very nice. Highly recommended.
My husband and I spent a few days here just before Christmas. The weather was quite cold but the heater in the house kept us warm. We hiked to a waterfall, hung out in the isolated hot springs, and searched for sunstones. Even got a cheeseburger to avoid cooking one night. Everything was much as expected; Plush is tiny, there is no wifi or cell reception (at least in winter), and the house was comfortable if not fancy, and had all the cooking utensils we needed.
I deducted one star from cleanliness because some oily substance had been used to clean the kitchen table and the coffee table. We had to rub and clean both surfaces before playing cards or putting anything on the surface. I also deducted one star from location/neighborhood for the abandoned trailer/home in the front yard. This is not noticeable once you are inside but does make for an unappealing entry. The view out the back windows more than made up for this. We enjoyed watching the sun rise and the ranchers feed their cows from the comfort of the warm home.

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Violated
We enjoyed the close proximity to Hart Mountain and Plush as well as the view off the back deck. Unfortunately the view out the front is of an old dirty, broken down, uninhabitable single wide trailer. The double wide home we stayed in was clean and well kept. The lack of a dish washer was an inconvenience.
In correspondence with the owner after our return he mentioned several times that there are multiple surveillance cameras around the property and he had retained footage and gathered license plates from additional vehicles. Not only was this a total invasion of privacy, but I checked VRBO’s policy and they require surveillance cameras to be disclosed upfront so that the renter can give consent prior to their stay. Therefore the property is not in compliance with VRBO's surveillance policy. VRBO can document this in the chat log with the owner if they choose. If this owner thinks they can get away with having 4 undisclosed cameras outside who’s to say they haven’t taken the liberty of installing them in the home. I can’t with good conscience recommend anyone stay here.
Excellent House and remote location with lots to do
No Mow Acres is a perfect getaway, far away from cities but close to lots of great activities including Hart Mt Antelope Refuge, Sunstone Digging area, Dark Sky viewing and Beaty Butte Mustang Refuge (in Adel). The house is actually nicer than the photos - really comfortable with six beds. Also the deck is fully set up, again nicer than the photos and looks over the Hart Mt area. The folks at the Plush Store are nice and it’s also a restaurant/ Cowboy bar; Adel’s famous store also has solid food. If you’re driving from Portland or Bend, stop at the Cowboy Dinner Tree first for dinner and you’ll have meat left over for days to cook up in the full kitchen. Enjoy.
Property was as advertised, with beautiful scenery views off the back deck. Communication with the owner was prompt and all questions were answered. Good directions were given and property was easy to find.

Great place!
The place was great. Full size home with all the amenities. No complaints at all with the only exception is it is advertised has having internet which it doesn't. Takes a minute drive to town where there is wifi. Also may want to warn folks there is no cell service in the area. Never saw the local manager but that was OK too. I plan on coming back! Thank you

Great weekend getaway
We spent the weekend at No Mow Acres and our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. The house was roomy, comfortable, welcoming and very clean. It had all the amenities we needed, except wi-fi, which wasn't missed. The views were amazing too.
