We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they would like to share the following: "The note in the welcome book and signs you mentioned were located on two pieces of furniture that were temporary furniture replacements. They were for safety precautions as we did not know how sturdy the temporary furniture would be. Most of the signs had been removed and we are very sorry that we missed a few. We sincerely apologize for making you feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, that was never our intention. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and all notes and signs have since been removed."

Response from owner: "Thank you for the long review with some good points that we will improve for guest good experience. Some points surprised us as they included exaggeration, assumption, and doubt. We just hope future guests will read more reviews before and after this review to see the difference. - About stairs, those are up to code and sturdy enough. To be safer and make it above code, we added anti-slip tape for each step. -One more point about the garage door, it was stray water from one of the lawn sprinklers, not any leak. We fixed it. Thank you, and we are working hard to continue to provide 5-star stays for our future guests!"
