The parking space they describe is not clear enough. The reality is the parking spots for this property will only work if you have a car. The parking space is the very last one on the right that has a horrible angle to park your vehicle. They have a notice saying if your vehicle is an over size suv or truck it may not fit along with the vehicle needs to be under 6.5 ft tall. They state, if your vehicle is an over sized suv or truck, you can get a day pass with the city of Tybee. After reading the information, my suv is not oversized and less that 6.5 ft tall so I did not look into the day passes with the city. When I arrived and attempted to park. It was clear that their discription should say, if you have anything larger than a Honda Accord, you should reach out to the city of Tybee for a day pass. Here is the issue with the day passes with the city of Tybee, they need to be applied for atleast 30 days from the date of your arrival. Because of the discription they had I did not apply for the day pass and paid an additional 55.00 a day to park. Please do not try to park in the parking spots if you have a vehicle larger than an accord. I tried and scratched the side of my brand new car! This property is managed by a property management firm and they are not concerned with customer service. I Tried reaching them everyday as the master bedroom sink did not drain properly. I finally got a call the last night, I missed the call and called them right back and they did not answer

Thanks for the wonderful feedback! We enjoyed having you as a guest and would love to have you return to stay with us again!
The location was perfect! Our only complaints was that we were given the wrong pool code and the parking spot damaged our vehicles.

Thank you for the review! We are sorry you were given the incorrect pool code and will make sure the directions are updated. Unfortunately, Tybee is known for it's very tight parking spots, we always recommend City parking if the vehicle does not fit in the allotted spots. We look forward to hosting you again!
Found this property last minute and was very happy with the over all trip. Parking is very tight for this condo, even with an '05 Escape. Definitely not ideal for large SUV/lifted trucks. Home was very clean and exactly as described.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and our team took care of your needs. We look forward to having you back soon.
Our family visits Tybee every year. This year the property we usually stay in was booked and we found this gem. Wonderfully located we had access to different selections of food shopping and best of all the beach. The unit was more spacious than expected, and there are balconies in each room. Very nice surprise and would visit again. The 4th floor is unit 20 is where we stayed. Thanks for a wonderful timeTybee - you did it again. See ya next year!!

This condo is one of the best we have stayed in. We loved the layout and the location. However, the property manager was awful. I kept getting emails before we arrived that we had to check in at their office located away from the property. When we got there we were told we did not have to stop in at the office. They also assigned a parking space to us that was good. A few days later the office called me and told me we had to park in a space that was narrow and had a concrete wall on one side and a concrete column on the other side. The property manager had warned us in emails about the height of a vehicle should be less than a certain height. They did not warn us about the very narrow parking that eventually they told us we could only park in. I asked for them to pay for street parking and was told they would get back to us…they never did. Also, we had a code to unlock the door. So we put the code in several times and it did not work. When I finally called the office I was told to put my hand in front of the key pad and then enter the code. Who would have known. Then we couldn’t lock the door to leave. I called the office again but it was after hours. I sent an email through VRBO and received a message the next morning around 8:30 saying they would get back to me when they could. That meant we had to stay in the condo until they got back to us. My husband finally googled the lock and found out how to lock the door. They never got back to us. Bad business.
Everything was great about this property location. The condo was cute. The only complaint we have is the parking spot for number 20 captains watch. They did tell us that large cars would not fit in there but it was the smallest parking spot. I have a Toyota Avalon and my friend had a Toyota RAV, and we could only fit the RAV very tightly in there. My Toyota Avalon would not fit at all
the front office was very helpful and gave us a street parking pass, which worked out fine, but they need to give people heads up about that one parking spot. Every other parking spot in the facility can fit any small car not that one.

Hi Wendy, thank you for the review! We are so glad you enjoyed the unit! Unfortunately, Captain's Watch's parking garage is known for its tight parking, but we are happy we were able to provide a city parking pass for you. It is noted in the property description that the parking at this unit is not suitable for large vehicles, but we will look at updating that so it is more apparent. We look forward to hosting you again!
The condo was super spacious and nice. It was right next to the pool which was super convenient. The dishes were not very clean upon arrival and the dish washer did not work well, so we did have to hand wash a lot of dishes. The location of the condo was perfect- super close to the beach, pier, and lots of shops/dining. Overall, we had a good stay; however, the parking situation was not good at all. The spot for #20 is extremely small and at the end of the garage, so you can’t swing out to get in. I wish I paid closer attention to the reviews on parking when I booked. We tried to fit in the spot and ended up damaging my car (a Subaru Outback-so not huge) pretty bad. My car being damaged just made a poor start for our trip. The garage is also short and I couldn’t open my trunk all the way without the door hitting the ceiling. I did appreciate the rental office giving us a pass for street parking on Tybee, though. The condo itself and location are awesome, the parking is just really bad.

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry that you had a bad experience in one of our rentals; we strive always to provide top-notch services and accommodations for our guests. We take your feedback seriously.
There are some Minor updates that could be done within the unit. There were some problems with the garbage disposal drain making noise a ceiling fan dripping water on the floor in the hallway. The parking space for this particular unit was extremely difficult to get into with a small SUV. That could be something that is disclosed on the description portion for the property. Overall the unit was very nice and the state was great. Perfect location.
