The Kitchen was well supplied, and overall everything was good. While we understand the warnings about being cautious about water, that is difficult depending on how many people are staying there.

Nice set up, well equipped, clean but some issues accessing due to dead keypad some chips on floor in hot tub area and a lot of ice on stairs and porch making it difficult to get around without falling.

Thank you Vicky, we appreciate your comments. We have since then changed the batteries in the keypad and made sure to leave some sand for the guests to put around the hot tub. It was a pleasure to host you!

Thank you Denise! Happy to know you've enjoyed your time spent at our beautiful property, you are welcome at any time to enjoy everything it has to offer!
We loved the location. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The pool was lovely and well maintained. The only thing I would recommend is some railings where you enter the pool. The kids had a wonderful stay with so many things to do at their disposal. We are already planning a return.

A five star home away from home. This was a perfect place to relax with friends and family. If you love pristine wilderness and need a relaxing escape, this place fits the bill.
Wonderful property, very well stocked and clean. The property is beautiful - private and peaceful. The resort facilities are great, we enjoyed time at the pool and lake. The location is convenient for a day trip to Montreal or exploring the mountain region.

Thank you so much Nicole! It was a real pleasure to host you. We would be happy to welcome you again in our little paradise!
The place requires extensive maintenance and repair. The handrail leading into the yard was broken, making access difficult and dangerous. Several lights were not functioning, and entering the chalet was challenging due to a malfunctioning lock. The hot water tank was unreliable, necessitating a reset after each shower; some guests experienced cold showers initially until they learned how to reset the system. Most concerning was the violation of our privacy on the final day when a worker arrived at 9:00 am to repair the water tank while one woman was showering, and the water was abruptly turned off. As she exited, workers entered and exited the chalet, which was very frightening, especially since she was alone and unaware of their early arrival. Upon our arrival, we had been informed that repairs would be conducted on the Monday, the day of our departure, and we assumed they would come after 11:00am, the time we needed to leave. All other guests were out on a walk at the time. We received a text message only 10 minutes before their arrival, and since we did not have our phones with us, we were unaware of their schedule. During the repair, all our belongings were left unattended inside the chalet while strangers moved freely around. I believe they should have waited until after our departure to address this issue. This last-day experience significantly diminished our overall impression of the stay. The owner refuse to give us any kind of compensation.
We recently stayed here and overall it was good. The cottage is beautiful and location was very nice. The stay had a few small issues. We had no soap in the showers and only one shower had shampoo. We contacted the property management and they said they would bring some, however they never did. There was garbage left from the previous visitors that wasn't cleaned before arrival. The hot tub was nice, however it definitely was not able to keep the temperature very long. After 10 minutes the temperature would drop below 100f. This made it difficult to fully enjoy it. Overall it was nice, but there are some issues that would need to be rectified for a return visit.

Hi Marc,
Thank you for leaving a review and for pointing out things that can be bettered. The cleaning team has been advised to be more careful with leaving plenty of soap and shampoo. As well as taking care of the garbage bin outside. We hope to host you again in the future!

We had been looking forward to a family getaway,, and we were not disappointed by the Cerf. Many happy memories were created, fun was had by all, and we are already talking about renting another chalet for next Christmas.
We had a wonderful time at your chalet… very clean, all amenities were available and loved that the holiday decor was still up for our visit. Would have loved access to a bbq or to the sauna, but otherwise a definite return…. Who knows maybe for fall instead….Thank you for making our family getaway celebration a memorable one
We spent a beautiful week on an adult family getaway at this cottage and were very impressed. The property is gorgeous, very clean, and very well equipped. The owner/property managers were extremely responsive to all of our questions, and the location was private, quiet, and perfect for a week of quiet relaxation. Highly recommended!
