About this property
CABIN ONE, on Gordon, Swansea
Walk, ride, drive - lots to see and lots do on the beautiful East Coast of Tassie! Blessed with some of the coast’s longest and prettiest beaches, Swansea is truly amazing.
Cabin One is a lovely 1-bedroom contemporary cabin on the East Coast of Tasmania in Swansea, perfectly located on the Great Eastern Drive.
Cabin One is the first cabin on the right-hand side as you drive in, built in 2020. The driveway is shared with an additional 2 cabins situated on half a hectare of open rural land. A quiet, peaceful area, there are only a couple of neighbours close by. All cabins are 10m long x 3m wide, to be exact.
Take it easy at this unique, tranquil getaway. Relax out the front on the deck and enjoy a glass of bubbles and a cheese platter overlooking the open rural setting. perfectly positioned north-facing, you get to enjoy the sun all day.
Open living area, with a leather lounge suite, luxurious foot ottomans, a smart TV, a breakfast bar and a well-equipped kitchen with gas cooking. It has a suitable-sized fridge/freezer perfect for 2 guests and a convection oven for your convenience.
Wake up to the sunrise over the Hazard Mountains, with a countryside view.
1 super comfy queen-sized bed to suit most. 1 fully equipped bathroom that also houses the laundry for your convenience. A washing machine is provided, but no dryer.
Perfectly located, it is only a short 5-minute walk to the beach, straight down Gordon Street, where you will arrive at the boat ramp and a comfortable 1.5km to the Town Centre.
We are trying to create a beautiful space for all to enjoy a relaxing stay. The gardens are slowly becoming established to create more privacy between all 3 cabins and other neighbours.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge.

"Cabin One" is the first cabin on the right. The back of the cabin is clearly marked with the number "1" on it, which is near the car park spot.
The Swansea township has the Bark Mill Tavern & Bakery and the Thirsty Camel Bottle Shop next door. There is also a Celebrations Bottle Shop, closer to the Cabins. There is an IGA grocery store, two fuel stations, Artifakt Gallery & Café, Saltshaker Restaurant & Takeaway Pizza, Pharmacy, The Horny Cray Seafood & the Swansea Golf Club, which is a course right next to the beach. Treat yourself to some berries and handmade chocolates at Kate’s Berry Farm. If you love a wine, be sure to visit a local winery.
