Sonder review

Make sure you make contact prior to arrival, check in process is very confusing as the front desk to the hotel has no connection with Sonder, and there isn’t any parking be prepared to pay a lot for parking. The apartment is nice the walls are bare, need some pictures to make it feel more inviting, the Tv only works sometimes. The rooftop pool is small, so if a lot of guests are using it, you aren’t able to enjoy because there isn’t enough seating or room in the pool so we missed out on this part of the stay. The view is beautiful on the rooftop, but they close the area at 9:00pm so again you aren’t able to enjoy the view for the time spent. All in all I give it a 6/10 review as a whole. Nice big space, for the apartment itself the remodel after the hurricane damage is nice.

Sonder 1600 canal

This property has a good location, a good rooftop pool and exercise facility. The rooms were probably lovely at one point but beat up. The hallway floor was the vinyl plans and have chunks missing right by our front door. The dishwasher never ran and the microwave knob fell off ever time we used it. While everything else was fine, it just felt like it was past its prime.

Nice and convenient

The unit was great. Gym was useful. Pool deck was enjoyable but pool is lacking. Hotel staff at desk and door were worthless.

Wonderfully spacious apartment

Place was much bigger than expected, and within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter. Clean and neat, felt like we had the whole floor to ourselves. Looking forward to revisiting the Big Easy and this property.
