We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The Carriage House was a perfect home away from home. It was exceptionally clean, cozy and comfortable.The location is wonderfully peaceful and quiet and the hosts were friendly and very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this property!

Neil was very welcoming! Precise directions were given to locate the accomodations and there was good communication both prior to and throughout our stay. The premise was pristine, beautiful and had all of the amenities of home. Highly recommend!

Carriage House

We have stayed in many rental homes in our travels and this one topped them all. Great location, beautiful view of the bay and sunsets. Hosts were very approachable and helpful with recommendations for food and local places of interests.

Neill and Debbie set a very high standard; their place is a joy to stay at as they have thought of everything. Neill met us at our arrival, and gave us a grand tour, including to the beach. He also informed us as to where to go to shop, and to eat. We really loved staying there and hope to be able to return someday. PS The views and sunsets were spectacular!

Superb. Every small detail attended to including bath salts and a various array of bathroom luxuries. Also the kitchen was incredibly well stocked with cooking utensils and various equipment.

Our experience at the L’Etete Carriage House was fantastic! Neil and Debbie were great hosts and were very helpful from check-in throughout our stay. Their communication about the local recommendations were helpful (e.g. seafood restaurants and points of interest) and they gave a great tour of the property. The property was well-stocked from the kitchen amenities (including little touches such as a fresh washing sponge and several utensils and cooking supplies) to the bathroom (bath salts and bubble bath included!), and throughout the cottage. The hosts anticipated every need ahead of time. The bed was very comfortable and the bathtub was luxurious. The grounds were serene and quiet. The walk to the beach and along the driveway was peaceful and the private beach was great for collecting rocks and sea glass. Amazing views from the deck!

Amazing View

As soon as we saw the gorgeous view from indoors we knew we had found our "place". Everything inside and out was spectacular. All the comforts of home plus beautiful nature in abundance surrounding us.

2 night stay

A perfect location to relax and enjoy the scenery. The Carriage house is decorated and equipped perfectly. The short walk to the water is a bonus. And if looking for restaurants etc its another short drive, but we were happy to stay put. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a low key getaway. Neil and Debbie were very helpful and pleasant.

Wonderful spot!!!

Wow! What a gem of a spot. We had a wonderful time at this incredible getaway - A beautiful home with an incredible view and the most welcoming and generous hosts. We appreciated all the small details that made the trip so comfortable. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

A Home Away From Home

Our stay was incredible! My partner and I were shooting photos of the coastline in the area and we were looking for a cozy little basecamp. Between the freshly made bread and homemade jam on arrival to the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in, this place had an instant place in our hearts. Neil made sure we had everything we needed and more. We would gladly return to this spot in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a blissful getaway.

Beautiful spot

Comfortable, clean, and cozy. Respectful and responsive host. If you’re looking for a place to stay within a few minutes walking distance to a beach, this is it. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway. A beautiful spot that allows pets is rare to find these days so this was a wonderful bonus. Highly recommend.

Fabulous and peaceful

Neil was so gracious and attentive to all my needs. He even turned the outside security lights off for me at night, so I could see the stars. The cottage was peaceful and perfect for a rural getaway, with a magnificent ocean view. For sure, I would like to come back some day for a longer stay.

Just like home

The is the most relaxed, quaint space that you feel completely at home. Very clean, the owners make you feel so welcome and met us on arrival and continued to be so helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. It is the best of both worlds - the view is spectacular, you can work out or go for a walk through the woods and walk to the beach and search for sea glass or sit and enjoy the water view. This was such an amazing place that this has become our first choice and go to for our time away from home.
