Loved our canal stay!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving at this perfect home on the canal. The location was perfect with views of water in all directions. Our teenage son enjoyed the downstairs room that felt like his own little apartment. We caught reds, blacks, and trout off of the dock as well as out in the bay. My husband loved being able to launch his boat right at the house. All the indoor and outdoor furniture was comfy and we felt right at home. Laura was such a gracious host and a great communicator. We would 100% choose to stay here again!

Family Fun

We’ve been coming to Rock Port for family vacation for 16 years. This was by far our favorite rental. The house was clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were so comfy! The downstairs accommodations were perfect for my daughter, son in law and grandson to have some privacy and quiet time for naps. The fishing was great! The neighbors were helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back to The Pelican.

Wonderful vacation rental

This house is beautiful! We loved the decor, and the bed was super comfy! Loved the walk-in shower! The location is great! We saw dolphins swim right in front of us! We caught a few fish from the dock (the seagulls kept stealing our bait) and plenty of big crabs! The kitchen had just about everything you can think of, including a big pot to boil those crabs The only thing missing was crab crackers, but we made do and enjoyed our catch! We definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again!

This was a great base camp for us to kayak fish from our Hobie peddle kayaks, teenage kids and our toy poodle "fishing dog." Great boat ramp, fish cleaning station and fenced yard. House was clean and comfortable. Thanks for the great stay.

Family Time

Great home with everything you would ever need! Well stocked upstairs and downstairs. The yard was great for the 4 legged family and the dock and fishing area was awesome. We didn't need to worry about anything and spent quality time with the kids and Grand daughter.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was almost like staying in our own home, as everything you would need in a kitchen and outdoors. It was clean and had a nice safe yard for our dog, and hose to wash the salt water off our car. The owner Matt was very responsive to minor questions we had during our stay. Had a nice dock to fish from, and we caught some Blue Crabs as well. We highly recommend this property for your vacation in Fulton/Rockport.

My husband and I sponsored my son an daughter, and her two little girls. The house was lovely and well appointed. The weather was the only downside, but we didn't let that stop us from enjoying all of the outdoor amenities! We had a wonderful time!

Great time had. This house is exactly as described and then some. House was spotless and had everything you could need and then some.. Beds were great! Bathrooms super clean. Beautiful front and back porch. Host was quick to respond the one time I had to reach out. Nothing bad to say. Would stay again.

Great stay!

Loved this place and the fishing and kayaking. No coffee provided which was rough the first day. Also no shampoo or body wash was put out. Laura did say it was a mistake about the soap. Loved the big yard and huge deck. It was great for my pups and us. We really enjoyed it and hope to come back.

Fun Home with a dock

The home is clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels. It has a nice dock for fishing with a night fishing light. We caught small fish but had fun catching Drum, redfish, catfish, trout and crabs.The deck furniture is nice and there is plenty of it. This was our 2nd time here and the weather cooperated this trip to make a really fun time. It's so nice to be able to take the fur babies with us.

2nd time here, loved it

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we loved it. There were minor things that were not working like the green underwater fish light. The first time we stayed we enjoyed watching the big fish swim thew the light. The were some issues with the downstairs ac but we got a quick response about getting it fixed and luckily we were checking the next day. The hosts are very quick to respond to messages. The power went out for over and hour on our last night there which caused the bedroom light not to turn back on. No fault to the property owners though. We hope to be able to return again this winter. We love fishing from the private dock & catching crabs. Although I think the crab traps could use some repairs because the crabs we caught kept escaping. The kayaks are a lot of fun and it was a really relaxing trip in a beautiful house.

Waterfront Rockport Vacay

The home was clean and neat. All the cabinets in the kitchen were labeled which made finding items and returning them to the correct place so much easier. The light switches were also labeled which is very helpful. We brought our boat and it was easy to launch right from the house. The air conditioner worked very well. We were all comfortable in this home and would recommend to everyone looking for a quiet place to hang out in Rockport.

End of summer vacation!

If you are looking for a quite vacation home with all the amenities, this is the place! Very clean and comfortable. The lower lever suite makes it very appealing for someone to have their very own private "mini-apartment" to retreat to. The dock was great for fishing into the evening hours. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking necessities. We have stayed at several properties in the Rockport area, and this is the one we will be coming back to. Highly recommended! Great winter getaway in Rockport, TX

This is a very nicely appointed and well-stocked property on a canal. The surroundings were great. This was much more than two people needed, but we enjoyed the extra space. We liked the TV setup and were able to watch the Super Bowl and other events we looked forward to. Since we were traveling with our dog, the fenced-in yard was a big plus; he could roam the yard and explore the stairs and decks as he wanted. This was also a good place for daytrips to Padre Island, Corpus Christi and the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge - an excellent place to hike. Also, the local Arts Center is outstanding. It appears the neighborhood and surrounding community are still recovering from Hurricane Harvey (2017), but this is not an issue for visitors. We would come here again, especially if a long-term rental arrangement were available.

It was a great weekend stay!

It was a great weekend stay! It was rainy most of the time, but it wasn't hot or too cold. It made for good fishing, especially with a green light to attract fish! We caught some fish and 1 crab for fun, & grilled oysters (store bought) on the pit. The covered patio was great for cooling off in the awesome breeze if company likes it warm in the house.We basically had everything we needed for water fun, even fishing pole holders. Laura was friendly and fast to respond with whatever we needed. The the beds were comfortable, linens were quality grade and everything was clean & kept up. Toiletries were not provided besides hand and dish soap, but other things were there if you planned to use the kitchen, even smaller electric kitchen appliances. We would definitly stay here again in the future!

Great Property!! This is our 5th or 6th stay in the Rockport area and this has by far been my favorite property. Best stocked house I have stayed at in for any vacation rental location. I always bring extra of what we will need (mom of 3) but this house had plenty of trash bags, paper products, dish/laundry detergent, etc. all available and not just a "starter amount." Kitchen and dishware very well stocked as well. Even had a gridle that the teenager loved cooking pancakes on! Muffin tins, casserole dish, crock pot, placemats, you name it- they had it. We didn't grill any, but that was available too. I will say some of the pots and pans need replacing due to the non-stick coating peeling, but I understand that that is a losing battle as some people are going to cook with forks and metal spatulas on Teflon and scratch it excessively. That was the only thing I was uncomfortable utilizing in the house and the only complaint I could come up with if I tried. House was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of seating indoor and out. Boat ramp was a great convenience. Caught many crabs in the crab traps and used as fish bait. LOVE that this property is dog-friendly and we could bring our fur baby! Owner was available and communicative. Emailed a question prior to stay regarding boat ramp access and received a prompt and thorough response. There was a small hiccup with the locks at check in and owner had it resolved within a half hour. Great stay! Excellent amenities! Will be back!!

This house in Rockport has everything you need. The house is very clean and really well stocked. It has a beautiful deck overlooking the water and a nice dock for the boat or fishing.
