Unit was spacious, well appointed and clean. We had plenty of room for our crazy kids and for space to separate when needed. The hot tub was great, the showers strong, and the beds soft. We appreciated being so close to Whole Foods and other amenities. No hesitation to book this spot for a future trip.

Park City Ski Trip

This property was perfect for my friends and I for our winter ski trip. It was very spacious, plenty of room for everyone and only about 15 minutes from Canyons village. We enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was perfect at the end of the day!

Great location

Overall we enjoyed our stay, there was plenty of space for our family of 4. The location was great for walking and shopping…having access to Whole Foods was perfect for us. Although we were offered more fans, the upstairs where the rooms are got really warm with no A/C. The basement and main floor was fine, but where we slept was not as comfortable as it could have been. Also, we had some rowdy neighbors and you hear everything being in such close proximity.

Dear Shannon, Thank you so much for taking time to share your review with us! We're so glad to hear you loved the home and the location! It really is so central! I LOVE that whole foods, it is one of my favorites :) It was unseasonably warm during your stay and we are glad to hear that the fans helped. Since it was down in the 40's overnight during your stay I'm surprised that the upstairs wasn't cooler. We strive to provide each guest with a 5 star vacation and I would like to apologize that we fell short. We will mention the noise to the owners of the surrounding homes to remind them of quiet hours. Next time just let us know and if it's after quiet hours the authorities can be dispatched. We hope you will come back and stay again, this place is perfection in the winter!

Family Ski Trip

This is our 4th year in a row staying in Bear Hollow, 3 in a row for this same house. We love it and will be back next year! Well appointed and very comfortable with plenty of space, we love the open floor plan for our 2 young grandchildren to play. The kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary gadgets, including a crockpot & rice cooker. The knives do need to be sharpened😊.

good place for large group

really close to Olympic park. this unit is large and has lots of space. Unit close to pool and has grill and hot tub. Only issue is that you can't see house numbers at night and directions to actual unit, if you can't see numbers, are not good. Other than that really nice and would definitely stay again.

Bear Hollow Number Four - Mar 5-11

High marks for: convenience, cleanliness, great living room, eating area, kitchen, and hot tub. The garage was great for our ski week. We'd recommend some solid plastic drinking ware for the Hot Tub and maybe some additional glassware. High marks for the management team; very responsive and proactive. They even arranged a trash pick-up as the service had been disrupted by the snow and weather. Alll in all, everything went very well.

Bday Bash

Awesome property, loved the open floor plan, seating for 10 at the table + the island. Only problem, no kitchen linens and we cooked every meal during our 5 night stay. We called management and they said they would bring them but didn’t arrive until the night before we left. Need extra towels for the hot tub. Would certainly come back though! Great space for family gatherings!

Ski/Ride/Birthday

We love the Bear Hollow location and in particular this unit, the open floor plan is perfect for our group. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils for all our cooking. Please note the upstairs bunk bed room has a very wet spot under the window. We think maybe the melting snow has something to do with it. Only 1 adult slept in that room so no spills from us. We will be back!

Nice family rental

We loved the location and the rental. It was a good fit for our family. We appreciate the responsiveness of the agency in helping us with the rental. We did enter the rental when the deck was not clean and we entered a very hot house. It is understandable that things break down although they may have been able to inspect it before our entry and let us know. At any rate, they were very good to respond when they were aware of the problem and even willing to reimburse us for part of the one day it was out. Overall, it was a very nice place for family to relax near Park City!

2/10 Terrible

A/C went out on 2nd day- house was sweltering hot. Maintenance promptly arrived and told us the condenser was frozen, but the A/C didn't come back on until late the third night. That, and the discovery of five spiders, ruined our stay.
Stayed 3 nights in Jul 2025
Response from VrboOwner on 6 Nov, 2025
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry your stay didn’t meet expectations. While our team responded promptly to the A/C issue, the system had frozen due to being set too low — something that can happen in the dry mountain climate when temperatures drop at night. We shared this information at check-in to help prevent exactly that situation, but we completely understand how uncomfortable it must have been while the system was resetting. Even so, we went ahead and provided compensation for the inconvenience. As for the spiders, the home sits right on the mountainside, surrounded by natural vegetation and open space. Occasional visits from local wildlife (including small insects) are part of mountain living, though our housekeeping and pest control teams do everything possible to keep the interior spotless. We’re genuinely sorry this experience overshadowed your stay, and we appreciate the chance to clarify what happened. Our team is available 24/7 and always happy to help make things right when given the opportunity.
