What a house! Where are you gonna sleep 16 people for $300 a night. I have an answer almost nowhere. This house is clean, neat and super special if you’re looking for something inexpensive, but beautiful. So close to skiing and all the fun winter activities! I can imagine how awesome it will be in summer with the fireplace, trampoline and basketball court outside. We cannot wait to come back for the outdoor activities.Owner/host is amazing! He and his wife are kind and considerate some of the best people one could meet. Cedar city Utah is a beautiful place to stay and this house is an A+ plus plus.Book now for this great rate, it is perfect for a large group or a small family. Also, I do want to mention that it is perfect if you need some time away and do not want to be recognized as a high profile client.
I stay at a VRBO every year for the Shakespeare competition, and we will now only choose this one. It's so close to campus and stores. It's so convenient. It had plenty of space and a really fun arcade. Kitchen was great. Very comfortable. Exactly as listed. So, if you are looking at going during the high school competition week at the Shakespeare Festival, then back off! It's mine! If you want to rent it out for any other time, then it would be perfect.

Great place for families
We loved everything about this place. The beds were comfy, enough space for a family of 14. The kids thought they had died and gone to Heaven when they saw the arcade game room. We would book this again!
We had a group of 5 couples stay for a Shakespeare Festival trip. The great room and kitchen are awesome for a big group - lots of seating and room! The house has a great location near walking trails and grocery stores.
Facilities were as described. Very comfortable except that three bedrooms were in the basement floor and that floor was very cold. It had no separate thermostat. The separate temperature controls for the main floor (incl'g one bedroom w bath) and the upper floor (three bedrooms 2 ba) were fine. The kitchen was terrific, as was the living room and dining spaces. There is a game room with half a dozen arcade games and an in-ground trampoline in the back yard. Would be a great place for families with kids!!!

Response from VrboOwner on 6 Sept, 2025
From the Owner: "Thanks so much for your feedback! I will consider adding a thermostat for the basement, but being a tri-level, it is difficult to maintain temperatures, as the main floor and basement are on separate heaters and air conditioners. Hope you can come back again and stay with us."
We loved staying here. The game/arcade room was a big hit for both smaller children and the teens. Kitchen was very accommodating and spacious. The kids also enjoyed the large yard. If you have really young ones, it's good to note that it's not completely fenced in but it wasn't a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again!!
Plenty of space for family to gather inside and outside as well as plenty of spaces for people to retreat to their own space. Five minutes from the Shakespeare Festival.
Great amenities for children and teenagers with the game room, ping pong table and outdoor facilities. House is in need of some repairs. Ample space for large groups.
We had an amazing time. Property was clean. Owner was very reaponsive to questions. Property manager didn't communicate well, but owner was on top of it when I communicated directly with him. Thank you!!!

We enjoyed the large family home for our Shakespeare Festival family reunion.
Plenty of activities for children not usually available at home. Space to gather as a family as well as rooms to retreat to for quiet time for our introverts. The quiet neighborhood meant good sleeping at night. The yard has plenty of room to throw a ball.
We especially enjoyed using the many game features: the ping pong table; the basketball goal, the trampoline, the arcade games (NASCAR racing; motorcycle racing, PAC-MAN, and Foosball. The kitchen is very well stocked. There is plenty of room for people to spread out. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely spread out over the three levels of the house. The beds were comfortable.
Family came from all over the country for our son's graduation from SUU. We needed a large place for people of varying ages, some with reduced mobility. The house was great -- it was big enough to hold everyone at a time when the small town was very crowded with visitors, had a nice, quiet location, required minimal steps up and down for the folks who had trouble walking, and was overall well maintained and very comfortable.
Once I got past the payment through Evolve (which was painful), the rest of the stay was great. We had more than enough space. The house had a bit of a musty smell when we first got there but that dissipated when we aired it out. The beds were all comfortable. It was fun to have the gaming room. The couch on the main level is deep and difficult to get out of. The location was great-easy to get to and close to many restaurants and stores. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, etc. The stairs going down had no railing but the one going upstairs has a railing,
The property was nice and clean and easily accessible. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is great, the air conditioning works beautifully throughout the house, and the parking is ample. We did have some issues: we felt unsafe taking the stairs to the basements as there are NO handrails on either set of stairs (age range of guests 54-75); the tub and sink in the upstairs hall bathroom have terrible draining issues; the basement shower handle falls off and sink also drains slowly; although there are several extra pillows available, none had pillowcases and none were provided; the sofa in the great room is very old and has sinking cushions; not enough seating for a large family (we had 15 adults and only 6-7 fit on the couch/ another couch or some club chairs would help), the outside trash cans were already full when we arrived so taking out the trash was challenging; in the basement bedroom near the ping pong table the above head fan light works, but not the fan.I contacted the host the second day we were there and repairs were promised, but no repairs were made while we finished our stay, no extra pillowcases provide, and no trash picked up.
We had a blast together in this home! With 7 bedrooms there was room enough for everyone! The common areas were big and spacious for movies, games and puzzles, and we have never rented a better-stocked kitchen! They had everything! (I was a little worried beforehand because I didn’t have room to pack a big pot for soup or muffin tins for our favorite Christmas muffins, but I needn’t have worried—they had everything I needed and more! )😊
There were plenty of towels and linens, too!
The only complaint my entire group had came from those who had rooms in the basement, or who spent time in the basement—there were lots of spiders they had to kill in order to be able to remain down there! (You really need a good pest service—we recommend Saela—ever since we started with them a few years ago, back when they were called Edge, we have had absolutely no problems with pests, inside or out!)
The game room was an absolute delight for the kids, ages 2-8! The motorcycle was the favorite, of course, and even the adults had a great time playing the throwback arcade games. :)
We skied and snowboarded one day at Brian Head and went tubing another day there. Both were fantastic experiences! The snow was great and the views were amazing! It took ~40 minutes to get to Brian Head from the home….totally doable!
All-in-all, that may have been the best Family Christmas Get-away yet! (Thanks for letting us use your wonderful home!)🥰
This house was perfect for our whole family to be in one place. Check in was simple and the house looked like the pictures. It had a huge yard, lots of indoor games and tons space for everyone. Would stay again.
Just as pictured and more! Lots of space for groups with plenty to do without leaving the home. Everyone enjoyed the game room and the downstairs ping pong room as well as the basketball court and trampoline. Well equipped kitchen and clean comfortable bedrooms. Great location near the SUU campus, Shakespeare, and a grocery store a couple blocks away.
We really enjoyed the property and the location with stores and eateries around only complaint it's not disabled friendly....but other than that it was a great experience
Located in a quiet but convenient neighborhood, this house and its 7 bedrooms was nearly perfect for our family (10 adults and 6 children).
Fun under-the-stairs hideout for kids in addition to the trampoline.
(Note: Top bunk is quite tall and has no guard rail.)
