Welcome to our lake cottage located at Vineyard lake in Brooklyn Mi. It has all the comforts of home with a few extras that will make your vacation relaxing and memorable.

As you pull into the property, the front yard is front and center of a scenic view here on Vineyard lake. Located on a dead end street, it is quiet and serene and ready for you and your family to come and enjoy. With a large fire pit, hot tub and lake at hand, you will find it easy to enjoy this cottage all through the day and into the night time.

As you come into the cottages' entrance, you will notice that the gathering area is large enough for all of your shoes, coats and some overflow too. Enter the living area and you see the floor plan that is large and open for engaged activity with all your guests to enjoy, and with a fireplace to set the stage.
The Galley style kitchen is equipped with all of the basics you should need in order to cook and clean along your stay. Although we can't be sure to provide everything, we do understand that having some of the basics is paramount to a wonderful vacation. Here are some of the things you will find that we provide in the kitchen because we understand you shouldn't have to pack up the whole house when heading out for a summer vacation:

- Silverware and Utensils - salt/pepper
- Pots/pans/cooking sheets - ice trays
- Cutting boards - Coffee maker/ filters
- Plates/bowls - Tea/coffee
- Full set of cutlery knives - Trash bags
- dish towels - wipes
- Paper towels - Dish/dishwasher soap
- There is also a microwave, toaster and a dishwasher to make your stay a bit more at home.

Lets start with the master suite for your sleeping accommodations. It comes with a Serta hybrid king sized mattress that is very comfortable and will hopefully give you a great nights sleep as it is intended. The master suite is roomy and very unique in its design and comforts. It has high ceilings with Black Walnut beams, planter shelving, wood siding and a ceiling fan that you will be quick to love! The natural lighting in this room has a perfect balance for privacy and beauty with a backdrop of natures finest in the high ceiling as you wake up each morning and start your day. There is a dry bar in the suite for your morning coffee or your final evening night cap as well... Wake up and enter the spacious shower with almost 50sqft of floor space, dual opposing shower heads and a fog-less shaving mirror to make your morning walkup call a pleasure that you will be sure to miss when you depart!! Ladies, come into the dressing room that has its own vanity and dressing table with all the lighting and quality mirror image you could ever need to start your day, and with a built in armoire, (one for him and one for her), a seating bench and lighting galore. What a pleasant way to start your day. You will love the private space it provides and the characteristics of a master suite suited for a relaxed stay with plenty of room for everything you have. So spread out and stay awhile.
The other two rooms have a queen and full sized bed and also both have dressers, night stand and closet space more than ample for a weeks getaway that lets them enjoy plenty of room to be organized and neat.

The living room has an open floor plan and gives a true feel of a cottage getaway with views of vineyard lake that cannot be ignored no matter whether you are out in the yard enjoying a bon fire, in the hot tub, eating dinner either on the patio or at the dinning table inside. The yard is fully canopied with mature Oaks, Maple and Pine trees that perfectly provide both shade and sunshine at the same time. There is a gas and permanent charcoal grill here for your use for whatever style of cooking you prefer, or you can go out to dine at any one of many restaurants, grills and wineries among the Irish hills area.

Vineyard lake is an all sports lake with over 500 acres of boating fun as well as multiple sand bars and incredible fishing that will not disappoint even the most seasoned fisherman. It has been the spotlight of some of the largest fishing tournaments that Michigan and the U.S has to offer in recent years so bring your fishing gear if thats your fancy, you will surely not be alone on this lake in the wee morning hours. Enjoy the wildlife among vineyard lake because you will have no choice but to witness everything from Sandhill cranes, to beautiful Swans each and every day. You are going to be surrounded by wildlife all day long, all you have to do to see it is open your eyes and look outside!
