Beautiful old-fashioned two bedroom one bath home perfectly located in Margate. The house is very clean and well maintained. A nice private backyard with a beautiful pool. The owners and evolve are very accommodating easy to talk to and easy to get a hold of if you need anything.

A great, simple stay!!

We loved our stay in Margate! The house was simple, clean, and well maintained. We were really there for the pool, which the kiddo loved! I do wish there were more pool floats/loungers and some good chairs for lounging in the yard. That would have perfected our family vacay!

It was a great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is definitely dated and could have been a little cleaner (especially in the bathroom), but all in all it was comfortable and provided us with the perfect place to come back to each night after the festival. Thank you!

Wonderful stay!

This location is perfect for a vactions near Fort Lauderdale. There was multiple stores, bars and things to do all close to it. At night, it was very peaceful and relaxing. The neighbors were kind and kept to theirs elvis. I did not worry about my pets escaping or getting hurt when we left. The house in general was so cute and cozy. Will definitely be back!Only con is the neighbor behind the house has two big Rotties that will fence fight and stick their heads through a small hole that looked like they made themselves. The owners did control them though!

Although the space is a little outdated, it feels literally like you are visiting a family member. Amazing location, fantastic, pool, and the house is so cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the host was literally at your fingertips if you needed. I would give this place 10 stars just because it felt like a home away from home.

There was a stale smoke smell as if someone who used to own the house or years ago, smoked inside. Transferred to all of my belongings, which was obviously frustrating. Otherwise, the pool was great. Great location needs deep clean

Eclectic design, uncomfortable beds, nice open pool ( didn't use because it was cold) but enjoyed the screened porch with nice breeze, fenced back yard for dogs, has laundry facilities, quiet neighborhood. Really needs a good cleaning.

Nice home close to the ocean!

Comfortable beds with a full bath and shower. Pet friendly which is great for the pup! Nice closed in fence. Great pool with a cool table down in the water. Manager/ owner easy to communicate with and entry and exit with at ease! Well worth the money to just get away and be at peace! 3 mins to Walmart about 10 mins. To the beach, can not be any better than that!

This property was absolutely disgusting and obviously the cleaning crew is taking advantage of and scamming them. By saying that, I’m assuming that the owners are not the ones cleaning it and have not been to their property in months to check on the upkeep. I have pictures and videos to prove how disgusting it is. Clumps of human hair, pet hair, dust, filth and dead bugs in every single corner of the house and don’t get me started on what is underneath the beds, dressers, nightstands and even purely visible next to them. My cat is orange and did not contribute to this filth. We brought multiple blankets to cover couches and recliner (furniture) as we always do when we rent a Vrbo. Along the sliding glass door are about a million dead ants on the floor and in the door track, something was spilled in the bottom of the refrigerator that leaked out onto the floor, ice cube trays were dirty and only half filled, dust accumulated everywhere. Bathroom mirror, tile backsplash and faucet had toothpaste splatters and dirty spots, pubic hair behind bathroom door, kitchen sink strainer had old food in it, expired spices/condiments on counter, dirty dish washing brush, lock box on the thermostat that is not mentioned on the property details. We were also greeted by a massive “animal” throw up on the front door mat. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

The house was adequate. We loved the pool and the washer and dryer was fairly new and convenient. The pictures I reviewed before I rented showed the house interior was run down and I was o.k. with that, but it was dirty. We had to buy a sponge to wash the dishes before we used them. The inside of the kitchen cabinets were dirty, the mini-blinds in the living room and bedroom were broken. It wouldn't take much to clean this place up a little and make it nicer.

Great stay in nice home and neighborhood

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a wonderful stay-at-home experience with VBRO, and I must say it was truly fantastic. From the moment I made the booking to the end of my stay, everything was seamless and hassle-free. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with everything I needed to feel at home. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the living spaces were spacious and inviting. The internet connection was reliable and fast, which made working from home a breeze. THis was a nice old school FL stay, in a 60's/70's home. What impressed me most, however, was the level of customer service provided by the owner. The owner was incredibly responsive and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed and that my stay went well. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a nostalgic stay-at-home experience in FL. Whether you're traveling for work or leisure, this home has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. I would definitely book with them again in the future.

Summer Vacation

The property was an older model home, which we expected. The back yard was perfect for our pets and the pool was enjoyable but needs service as skimmer is not working properly so we had to manually skim the pool each day. The kitchen appliances were unusable. The oven and stove were filthy. The over head range vent needs to be replaced. The coffee pot and toaster had to be replaced and they did bring us replacements the first night. The microwave needs to be replaced. We were unable to use the oven, stove and microwave the entire 2 weeks because they were too dirty to use. They offered to clean the oven but that was not convenient for us with pets. The thermostat was auto controlled and we could not make any adjustments for the heat but was it was cool enough most of the time. We had to clean the entire floor and the bathroom with bleach. We replaced the shower curtain and scrubbed the tub and walls to make usable. The neighborhood was very mixed and quiet and clean, well kept. Washer and dryer were very good. Overall we made it work and owner was easy to reach and stayed in contact with us. She may want to make a visit to the property to see how it is being kept.

Nasty/dirty conditions

We picked this place because we know the area and we were looking for a nice place with a pool. I know the homes in this area are older and many not updated. Which is fine, it's what we expected. But when we walked in we had to clean up dead roaches in the living room and bathroom. The floors were not swepted or moped as there were sticky spots throughout. The third bed they advertise as the sofa bed was disgusting. We took the cushions off the couch and it was filled with crumbs and a stinky dirty sheet. There was cigarette butts under the couch, my kid found, used water bottles and under one of the beds was used underwear. The dust around the house is so thick and caked on everything. The bathtub window seal is falling apart and cocking around the bathroom is black and gross. At one point during my stay I had to call the owner because I found marijuana in the kitchen! As I told her what was being found she asked if I wanted the cleaning service to come. I'm sorry but thats not the appropriate answer. I should've been offered compensation, which I had to ask for. Hopefully I receive something back soon. I can say the pool area was nice and the sheets on the beds in the rooms were washed but thats all this place did right. Obviously the cleaning fee they charge isn't being used for cleaning the property.

Hice una reserva una semana antes de hospedarme lo primero que les pedi fue que tuvieran el area de la piscina limpia ya que viajaba con mi esposo y mis hijas me respondieron que todo estaria listo para mi estancia . Cuando llega el dia de alojarnos me llaman 10 minutos antes de la hora de entrada a comunicarme que la piscina estaba verde y sucia que se habia puesto asi ese dia en la mañana quedamos prácticamente en el aire gracias a la irresponsabilidad de esta persona. Tuvimos que rentar en un hotel por lo mas rapido cosa que no estaba en nuestros planes. NO LOS RECOMIENDO por IRRESPONSABLES

Worst place ever. Was like sleeping in a sauna due to host messing with thermostat.

When we got into the the 1st thing that was telling of a bad stay is that the temperature in the house was 79 degrees and the thermostat was set a 78. Overall the place was dirty, toilet was only cleaned on the half that stuck out past the vanity and dust and dirt on the floor throughout the house, and trash still on the ledge in the tub. The thing that made the stay the absolute worst was that the thermostat is remotely controlled by the owner. We are talking about a house in South Florida in the summer. As I said when we got in the house was 79, I set the thermostat to 68 knowing it would take a while to cool down. I went to check it a while later when it hadn't cooled off and it had been changed to 74. So I changed it back it had cooled down to 72 around 10 so I thought over night it would finally catch up and settle out. I woke up around 3 and was sweating, I checked the thermostat and it had been turned back up to 74 and was 76 in the house. I turned back down. I went back to bed and got up again around 530 because it was hot again and same thing it had been turned back up. I turned it down again and went to lay back down got up again at 830 went and looked at thermostat and it had been changed to eco mode 78 and was 77 in the house. That day we went and bought fans because the ceiling fans in the house were about useless. We also had our dogs in the house and were worried of them overheating. This game on the thermostat continued until Sunday when I had enough, we checked in on Thursday, I text the host and asked them to quit messing with the thermostat because it was hot in the house. I set it at 68 and it was left alone for around 6 hours after I asked then it started again, I was able the last night in the house to get it down to 70 in comfortable as long as I got up every hour to turn it down again and at 8 it was changed to 78 degrees and I had to turn it back down until we could packed and leave. This is an Evovle house so if you see that attached to any others I would steer clear. I filed a complaint with VRBO so we will see if anything is done. Only reason I put up with it was because we were on vacation visiting family and did not want to run the risk of having to move and take away from our time. Needless to say this did not make the vacation as enjoyable as it should have been.
