Excellent view, friendly community and comfortable king bed upstairs. A walk to downtown Vancouver took a good 1.5 hours, but downtown Ambleside is just a 5 minute walk. We couldn’t figure out the tv upstairs but it wasn’t a big problem. Loved watching all the local folks play soccer on the many, many fields on our walks! Was very cool.

We had a great stay at 1035 Duchess. We were a group of 5 there for a hockey tournament and there was plenty of room for us to all sleep comfortably. The views from the property are amazing. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The host Maya was great at communicating. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Vancouver area.

The view and location were just fantastic. Did I mention the view? Plenty of room to hang out, a usable kitchen, great timely communication with the host, and location close to a mall with everything. There were also some lovely outdoor spaces which we wish the weather would let us use. Next time!

Wonderful home with amazing views!

This house was perfect for our family (2 adults and 4 teens) and close to many of the sights we planned to visit. Lots of great restaurants in West Van, just down the street, and a great park on the beach.

It was really welcoming in the house. It had great energy.I read the binder for the garbage information.It said to bring it out back.Which I did.But those crows are wild.

Great location

Within 5-15 min to capilano bridge and grouse mountain. Lots of good eating nearby as well. House was clean, had plenty of amenities, bed was comfy and the view was spectacular.

The street number sign was not clearly visible when we arrived. the outside lighting was not working which made the stairs leading up to the front door awkward with luggage. The bushes surrounding the driveway were overgrown making the driveway very narrow for a large rental vehicle.The house had no functioning air conditioning during a warm weekend stay. The single beds were uncomfortable to sleep on.

Hi Milosh thank you for your stay and your review. This is under investigation by Vrbo as the items mentioned in the review are not true representation of the house. Houses in West Van don’t have AC and on my listing I have commented that I have a portable AC which we set up in summer time. It’s usually not needed when it’s 14-15 degrees. However we could set it up for you if we received a communication from you as we followed up and we didn’t hear back. There is a sensor light by the stairs to entrance door. You communicated you need an early check in which was no problem but you checked in at 11 PM - I would have set things up if this was communicated We trim the bushes and trees 4 times a year - specially driveway - not sure what the size of your car was. This is a narrow driveway and bushes don’t block- driveway is narrow House number is very clear - not sure about street number as that’s not within my control This is however under review by Vrbo but I wish you all the best :)
