About this property

Cozy beach cabin across from one of Vancouver Islands most beautiful and rare Black Sand Beaches. The main bedroom hosts a king mattress, tons of storage and skylight. Bathroom has been recently renovated with new shower, vanity and washer/dryer.
Fully renovated kitchen with stove, dishwasher, and full size fridge. The living area has a second double size pullout couch and electric fireplace. Outside has lots of parking for RV and boat. Large patio area with BBQ and seating as well a fire pit.

Charming rustic cabin

We stayed at this little cabin while visiting friends in the area. It is very sweet and the photos are accurate. The outdoor space is great, as is the location and the kitchen is well-stocked. A couple of things to be aware of - this is a small space - maybe 450 square feet? so quite tight. The bathroom was tiny and required some maneuvering- we didn't even try the shower as it was very small. The heat pump wasn't working and it took a bit of back and forth with the owner to figure out how to heat the space although we did get it sorted and our biggest concern was that the mattress was on the floor - when asked about it, the owner said the frame was broken and had to be replaced. I would have preferred to be warned of this in advance so we could have made other plans. We are of an age that rolling out of bed onto the floor isn't really an option. I would say that this space is suitable for young people who don't mind roughing it a bit. All in all, we had an OK time and a very cute spot.
