Silver Creek 2 BR Condo, No Cleaning Fees, A/C, Pool/Hot Tub

Condo Description:
This condo has been redesigned from the traditional Silver Creek unit. A great room concept with a bar top counter for dining. Direct access to a bathroom from each bedroom. A Master Bath with a walk-in shower and a rainfall shower head / handheld wand shower system.

The condo's Master bedroom has a king size bed, the 2nd bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted into a king (upon request). Also, each bedroom has its own cable flat screen TV. Wi-Fi is provided thru out the entire condo.

In the living room there is a sleeper sofa and a recliner. A queen size auto inflate air mattress can be provided if preferred to the sleeper sofa. For entertainment there is a 70" smart tv with access to Netflix, Sling and Amazon Prime.

This condo is located on the top floor (eighth) of the Siver Creek lodge, looking out at Cheat Mountain. The Silver Creek Slopes (night skiing) and Tubing hill are located right next to and behind the lodge. Also located in the lodge is the Bear's Den (kid's area), The Locker Room (Sports Bar including Video Slot Machines), various stores, ski rental shop and an indoor/outdoor pool & hot tubs.

The Silver Creek Lodge is located 3 miles north of Snowshoe's Central Village.

For Summer Use, portable A/C units have been added to each room. Also, our pool is current open 11 to 10 pm daily.

Fees: the only fee we charge is the HOA's daily parking/amenity fee which pays for the internet (unit wifi & building cell phone - AT&T), pool and parking lot access. We do not charge a unit cleaning fee.

Great stay! The condo was large with plenty of space. We enjoyed having access to the pool, hot tubs and sauna, as well as the gym. Silver Creek skiing is right outside the door. The kitchen had everything we needed (except no pepper, just a salt shaker and some other spices). We will definitely stay again if the timing works!

Wonderful family retreat

We absolutely love Snowshoe! We can unplug with our kiddos and lose track of the day. Focus just on spending time with each other. Wonderful property. Would stay in this apartment again!

Owner, Don, is on premises and very responsive. Ideal for 4 adults. Upon departure, only had to empty trash. In season, building has a lot to offer including on site restaurant.

Nice Stay - clean, kitchen well stocked, loved the rainfall shower head + hand-held combo, large TV screen with Wifi, nice balcony view -- also used the lodge pool and hot tubs. Be careful - very big step into hot tub and had difficulty getting out!

Really nice room. The building is quite dated. Nice access to slopes for night skiing. Restaurant in building was not great, but an easy shuttle ride to better places to eat. Overall really liked it and would come back.

Fantastic rental- super clean, comfortable beds, nice layout & decor with lots of natural light & ventilation. Nicely outfitted kitchen. Washer/dryer is a combo unit that washes well but my clothes were still damp after 5+ hours of drying. Other than that was perfect, would definitely book again.

Property was exactly as described. We did have one small issue with a heater, but that was quickly remedied. Don was very responsive to our issue and it was fixed within a couple hours, which was great. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again

Fun Ski trip

Silver Creek was closed, so there was no ski in, or ski out but only a 2 min shuttle ride to Snowshoe. The place was empty; we really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor hot tubs. The steam room was amazing! The room was clean; the beds were comfortable! It was a surprisingly large space with 3 TVs! Make sure you print out your parking pass and get the wifi password as there is no cell coverage; it is a government quiet cell area no carriers work. We ate at the Almost Heaven BBQ it was tasty if you like dry rub BBQ.

Clean and Comfortable

This is a renovated space that was very clean an comfortable for our stay. I imagine that in the winter, during ski season, it is full of life. We were there in the off season and there were very few people around. We never felt unsafe, but just odd that in a big complex, it seemed empty. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed, the furniture is new and comfortable and the view is amazing. Check in and check out were simple. I would return.

The condo was as pictured. It would have been nice to have more towels. I tried to contact owner and text would not deliver. Perhaps because there is no service on most of the area. Also no one at the front desk this time of year.

Leaf Peeping

We traveled to West Virginia for the fall colors and wanted to stay somewhere in the mountains at a reasonable rate. We figured that Snowshoe Resort would have off-season rates but most accommodations came with many hidden fees but this condo did not. I concur with all of the previous positive reviews. The condo is not at the main village but a few miles away. Other than that, it was an excellent value, the furnishings were excellent, views and communications with the owner was wonderful!
