This stylish and family-friendly renovated home offers a quality experience for families and small groups. Not only beautiful but this charming house is also located in the best location, close to the essentials and within walking distance to the beach.

THE SPACE
Stay in the lap of family-friendly with this 3-bedroom home; with character and charm, it's perfect for a family getaway or a few couples enjoying the coast.

The house is in a residential street with surrounding permanent tenants so we only rent to mature guests that will remain respectful to our neighbours. The house is to be used for relaxation-style holidaying, loud parties are prohibited.

Guests have the choice of:
BYO Linen / Towels - Guests bring their own fitted, sheets, flat sheets, and pillowcases for each bed. Guests also bring their beach, bath, and tea towels along with hand towels and bathmats. Refer to the home’s description for the bedding configurations.

Linen Set Hire - Guests can hire a full linen set for $30 per bed which includes a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcases. Bunk beds are classed as two beds. All beds are the same price.

Towel Set Hire - Guests can hire a towel set for $10 per person which includes 1 bath towel and 2 tea towels (for only the first ordered towel set).

Bathroom Set Hire - Guests can hire a bathroom set for $10 per bathroom which includes a bathmat and hand towel.

Delivery Fee - If any items are hired, there will be a one-off delivery/set-up fee of $40.

If the stay is longer than 7 days, ask management for any additional pricing.

For linen or towel hires, advise Ready Set Stay with 48 hours' notice as last-minute requests may not be possible.

We ask all guests to please clean the BBQ after use, or a $50 fee will be charged.

The neighbourhood is said family-friendly. There is a guest guidebook at the home with recommendations on what to do in the area, this gives dining options and local attraction suggestions. ADDITIONAL RULES
Strictly no schoolies, parties or events. Mature guests only. The property is patrolled by security. If neighbours complain or the police are called this could affect your bond and we reserve the right to evict guests.

Family wedding

We had six adults stay and it was very comfortable and roomy. Location was great walking distance to shops & beach. We had a relaxing stay.

Great location but cleanliness problematic

Only 5-7min walk from town centre which was great but house in need of a thorough clean in & out. Dishware & appliances were dirty and furniture could do with clean & upgrade too. Bit of concern of high rate charged for very limited quality.

Disappointing end to stay

The accommodation at rye was lovely however we had a disappointing end. We were wrongly accused of breaking the TV with next to no communication from the host. No invoice was provided to us as proof of repair, just a short message into our inbox advising we will be charged. We did NOT damage the TV.

Beautiful bushy beach vibes

The short break ended up being time away together that we needed. The house is beautifully sunken into it's bushy surrounds and automatically makes you feel relaxed as you drive into the property. The sunny deck is a perfect place to read a book and relax in the hammock or lounge. The house was clean and tidy and well appointed. If you do plan on cooking though, you might want to bring your own frypan ok baking trays etc... as some of these items were getting a bit tired and worn. Quite a list of items to action when leaving, so please be considerate of next guests - on arrival we had to empty the dishwasher and clean up poop in the yard from others before us. Also worth noting for those travelling with pets, there are possums on the property. Only disappointment was even though we advised ahead of time, there was very little flexibility to the booking and as a result, had to forfeit a night due to a death in the family. Earlier check-in or later checkout in place of the forfeited night would have been appreciated but was denied. That said, all in all a nice place to stay and would stay again.
