About this property

Walk to the Resort! Comfortable 2 Bedroom, Great rates!

The Ponderosa complex is located just a few blocks from Resort Access, Base Area shops and restaurants, and the main transit center. Enjoy additional property amenities like complimentary wifi, parking, onsite laundry, outdoor communal hot tubs, and the summer outdoor barbecue grill.

This 2 bedroom / 2 full bath fully equipped condominium offers very generous square footage for families and groups that need to spread out. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar for 2 and comfortable seating for 6 at the dining room table. The master bedroom has a king bed with a private bathroom. Flat-screen TV is also in the master. The guest bedrooms are equipped with two twin beds. This one-level condo is easily accessed from the front of the building and is located on the second floor. There is onsite permitted parking available for 2 vehicles.

The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. The Ponderosa condos are within close walking distance of the main transit center. The summer schedule runs every 20 minutes; the winter schedule runs every 15 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes.

Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management offers additional services for our guests that others may not. Upon your arrival, you’ll find that we supply all linens, towels, and paper goods. This includes paper towels, toilet paper, starter shower kits, coffee packets with powder creamer and sugar, kitchen towels, dish sponges, dish soap, and dish detergent. We also provide towel and trash services for our paying guests every other day. For additional service requests, please contact our office.

Good communication. Close access to the mountain base. Comfortable accommodations.Areas of improvement…snow removal on the hot tub. Only got to use it one evening due to snow coverage. Update the kitchen and bathroom mats. They are looking pretty tired and worn.

Incredible views

My family enjoyed staying here. We especially liked the view of Mt Crested Butte from the spacious patio. The accommodations are nice and plenty of space for my family of 4. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking basic meals. The base and town bus access is a short 10 minute walk.

Great location for access to Mt CB and area

The property is only a block off Gothic Ave which made accessing areas between Gothic and CB convenient. It was also an easy walk to the base area.

Great olace

Super comfortable, amazing views, clean. The toilets could use updating and the showers were sub par but the overall it was great. Beds were very comfortable.

Everything from booking, arrival, and departure was excellent! Great place to stay! Plenty of room. The has kitchen everything you need! Bathrooms are well stocked. Short walk to lifts, rentals, and restaurants. The view from the balcony is incredible! I highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic!!

My gal pal and I wanted to come and hike/shop and see the wild flowers. This place was perfect! If we wanted to go downtown we just walked down the hill and grabbed the shuttle. The condo was very clean which is very important to me! So easy to book and check in!!!

Beat the Heat

Went to Crested Butte to beat the heat in Oklahoma. The condo was in a perfect location so you don't need A/C---just open the windows! The king bed was comfortable, too. We relaxed in the hot tub after a long day of off-roading in the mountains. It's not fancy but very clean.

Let’s start with the good news: the unit was meticulously clean. And the location to the lifts/coffee shops/etc was superior - no more than a 5 min walk. Coffee on the deck in the morning was wonderful. Some things to perhaps improve… the condo is VERY VERY dated which gives it an overall rundown look to it. Additionally, it is bare bones as far as VRBOs go - very little glassware provided (and no wine glasses) and only teeny tiny mini bars of hand soap in bathrooms which were gone by day two. Just little things that make a stay more comfortable are really missing here. Overall, it’s decent. Location is perfect but there is a lot of room improvements.

The unit is a bit dated, but it was clean.It seemed like they were very cheap on basic amenities like soap and kleenex. There was no body wash, just a couple pieces of soap we found under the sink. One of the burners on the stove was broken. The seal of the refrigerator was also broken, so it wouldn't stay closed.It was a great stay, but the unit needs a little TLC that would be very easy to do and make it so much better for what we paid.
