Thanks was a great stay Lavender cottage. Very close to shops and easy walk to everything. Really lovely yard.

Home in Port Fairy

Quirky home that was a comfortable home away from home for a week. Location to town and walks was fantastic. Not flash but very comfortable and would stay there again.

Close to everything

Great stay, house in great position. House a little cold and dark but well appointed and facilities are good

Historic Port Fairy Cottage

The cottage was lovely and well presented. We had issues with the main bedroom at the front as there was a street light outside and the blinds and curtains did not block out the light at night. There were no instructions for the TV and it seemed not to have suitable apps for viewing other than local stations which were not very good.

Lavender Cottage

Quirky property still being renovated. Unable to open some windows and the front door. We were glad the weekend was cool. Outdoor furniture was in poor condition. Location was suitable but we will look elsewhere next time.

Pros and cons

Enjoyed our stay but main door lock (mentioned as tricky) really needs to be replaced, it was so stiff and took several tries to lock at night. No ABC,SBS channels available which added to disappointment of no movie availability. Drinking water quality poor in Port Fairy generally. Also the legs on sitting room heater need to be screwed on and instructions for turning on required. On a positive note, beds were very comfy and the house had a lovely ambience about it. Lovely garden too.
