This was a fantastic property and was just what we were looking for with our beach vacation. It is located in a great neighborhood and close enough to restaurants and things in town. There was plenty of space and all of the amenities were incredible. These hosts were very responsive and provided everything we needed and more.

The home was lovely, well stocked and just a block and a half from the beach. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and we enjoyed the enclosed driveway area. We were able to set up a rudimentary pickle ball court there. We would stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

Great beach house!

We loved staying at this beach house! Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were great. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Close to beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean property!

Fantastic Stay!! Honestly the cleanest house I have ever stayed at in Galveston. There was an issue with the ac and it was fixed within an hour. Loved the fenced yard! Would book with them again!

Yearly Walker Galveston Trip 2023

Enjoyed our stay in Galveston as always. The home was very nice and very clean. The beach is about a 10 minute walk. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The fenced in yard was a big plus for us since we had our fur babies with us. Wish we were still there.

Very nice vacation!

Enjoyed our time at Lollygaggin! Would have liked the outdoor TV to have worked. Also the light in garage did not work. Overall it was a great stay. Thank you so much!

A beautiful, modern, open concept updated home. There were 6 of us, and we did not feel crowded at all; plenty of space to eat, relax and play. The host was exceptional! Very communicative, and super friendly and responsive. The kitchen was very usable, and we cooked most of our meals. Nicely stocked with the basics. Plenty of detergent, extra paper towels, and a personalized welcome sign to boot!Beds were comfortable, spotless, fresh and fluffy. Master bathroom felt luxurious, and 2 bathrooms were plenty for our party. We walked to the beach with a wagon, and it was doable, even for my parents (in their 70’s). If your canopy is small, no need to rent a golf cart. During the weekdays, we had the beach to ourselves, and the neighborhood was quiet. 5 stars, highly recommend!

Great Spring Break Stay

Me, my wife, and kids loved this property. By the second day they were already calling it home. Each room had its own tv which the kids loved. Perfect for when me and the wife want to wind down after a day of exploring the island. House is very open. We used the fire pit downstairs for s’mores one night. Garage had beach chairs (like 6 of them) so no need to bring yours of staying here. Master bed was super comfortable. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Nicely updated property. Plenty of room.

The home had been recently updated so everything was clean and new. There was actually decent cookware in place too. As stated, six minute walk to beach. We had two other couples join us for part of the day Saturday and there was plenty of room at the big table and bar for everybody to eat. Only a small family sized charcoal grill, so I had to cook everything in three batches. I will definitely come back to this house with the family again.

Almost perfect!

I stayed here in May 2025 with my husband, 1 year old son and my Labrador retriever. We absolutely loved the house! It looked just like the pictures and you could tell it had been thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. I had to knock one star off because there is a big safety concern with the deck. Several of the balusters were loose (visibly unattached from the bottom of the deck) and if you tapped them, they fully pushed away from the deck. I couldn’t let my 1 year old walk around on the deck which was a huge bummer. If this issue is resolved, we would stay here again!

Beautiful updated house close to beach and easy drive to Galveston

House was perfect! Even better than pics. Everything looks brand new. Walk to beach was super easy and fenced in upper deck, below deck and yard were fantastic since we had our fur babies with us. House was small but open and didn’t feel crowded at all. We didn’t need them but the double bunks in one of the other rooms seemed extra tall and roomy. Only complaint I have and it wasn’t a problem, was the washer and dryer were super loud and we had to be selective when we did laundry because you couldn’t hear the living room tv. Minor issue. Don’t like doing laundry on vacay anyway…lol. Literally everything else was great! Oh and the primary bed was so comfy we are thinking about buying the same one! We will definitely rent here again

We loved our stay at lollygagging! The house was very spacious for our group of six and very clean. The patio underneath was huge and a great spot for us all to hang out and grill after the beach. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk to get to and is normally not crowded at this end of the island. The property even provided a wagon, beach chairs and plenty of toys to take to the beach. It was great having a fenced in yard for the pets. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook at home. We have stayed at other properties on pirates’s beach but this is definitely our new favorite.
