Very nice property in a unique and beautiful area. Carole is an amazing hostess. We stayed to go see Niagara Falls but wish we had booked longer to experience all the other fun things in the area (wineries, orchards, kayaking).
Perfect for a few day stay with family or friends. View was spectacular, and the deck was perfect for meals and relaxing. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed, and the host Carol was very prompt and helpful in all communication. Check in/out was seamless and we found the directions to the cabin easy to follow. Close to Niagra attractions, but also felt very remote and peaceful. Stairs to the loft area might be tricky for some, but our 5 and 8 year old loved it! The host was super generous to bring some toys over for the kids as well. Excellent place and would definitely return if we are in the area in the future!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was very well stocked, had a amazing view, and the host was great. We would definitely stay again.
A friend and I stayed in this lovely cottage for a long weekend. It was clean, comfortable, well provisioned, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. The owner was very helpful, offering lots of great local recommendations. Highly recommend!
Terrific getaway with amazing views, very genuine friendly hosts that go above and beyond to make sure you have all that you need for a memorable relaxing stay. We will definitely be coming back in the near future!!!
Stayed here for my best friends wedding with my family ! larger than what we expected from online photos , four adults stayed comfortably! Hosts were amazing , quick to respond and very present . Gorgeous views !
Beautiful rural setting with well kept vineyards and orchards, yet close enough to Toronto for a day trip. Really enjoyed the Lake House and August Restaurants.
The perfect location for our mini-vacation. The cottage was clean, the decor and ammenities were modern and deluxe. The view of the lake was fantastic. It was a cozy spot for our relaxing getaway. Carol was a responsive and gracious host. We can't wait to come back again and again.
Carol went above and beyond in making our stay amazing! She gave the teens a tour of the property, had everything ready for us and was very responsive. Her recommendations were on point! The wineries were delightful, hikes beautiful, beaches so refreshing! We are already planning a return visit!
Words cannot express our experience at this amazing gem in the middle of wine country. We went for a family vacation with our two young adult boys. Carol was an amazing host went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The cottage has everything anyone would need. It was perfect. We could go to Niagara Falls for the day and come back to our serene little oasis. The boys enjoyed bike riding through the wine country and orchards. We will definitely be back! The pictures do not do justice to how beautiful this property is. Thank you again Carol, until next time! -The Mosier Family
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage. It's essentially a tiny home set right next to Lake Ontario with wonderful views and a quiet setting. We loved that it was only a quick 30 minute drive away from the chaos that surrounds Niagara Falls. We were able to enjoy our various tours and adventures at the Falls and then return to a quiet refuge.
A couple things to note, the spiral staircase is the access to the loft. This can be tricky to navigate at 2am when nature calls. There's a little bit of a walk from the driveway to the cottage via a stone path that can be a challenge with luggage. We just took our time and brought things in onesie/twosie. I wouldn't change this, it's part of the charm but it may be a consideration for some.
The hosts ensured we had everything we needed including some treats (peaches and peach preserves) as well as recommendations for local wineries and restaurants.
We will happily stay here again. It was a completely delightful experience.
Perfect size for two friends while visiting wine country. So close to good wineries. Clean, well appointed, lovely and dramatic view of the lake. Great suggestions from owner for places to visit. We will definitely be back.
Very cozy and well appointed little cottage right on the lake. Easy checkin and an attentive host made our stay a breeze. Great views and close to amenities and attractions in the Niagara area. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing getaway in wine country!
Everything about this property was perfect for our weekend getaway. The decor was fresh, modern and created a relaxing atmosphere, and the cozy space was perfectly designed to be functional while allowing for an unobstructed view of the lake for both sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed walking our dogs along the quiet country roads and also took in some hiking and outdoor dining at a local brewery, both a very short drive from the property.
Thanks to Carol for being such a gracious host!
This was the most amazing lake cottage in a really unique area. Everything was perfect. The cottage was super clean, it was private, the view was to die for, and the local area was really fun to hike and do the winery tours and tastes. Carol was an amazing host. On top of everything to ensure our stay was comfortable and nothing we needed. We made amazing meals and had delicious local wines and beers and hung on the deck in awe of the views. Not to mention great sleep in the very clean and comfortable bed after our nightly Netflix shows.
We will be telling all of our friends about this cool unique getaway. We feel like we found a true gem to make our new favorite place to retreat and relax.
Rent this cottage, it’s even better than you will expect and you will not regret it.
Thank you Carol for showing us the best time in lake country Ontario! We will see you soon!
