Welcome to The Lakehouse, a charming holiday rental nestled in the picturesque coastal town of Cudmirrah. This delightful four-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat is the perfect getaway for families or groups of friends, accommodating up to nine guests in total comfort.

Things to note about the property:
- Linen and towels are not supplied (contact our office for the local linen hire company)
- No Aircon and Wifi
- No Garage Access
- No smoking inside the house
- No Pets allowed.

Inside:
As you step inside The Lakehouse, you'll find yourself in a welcoming and spacious lounge room, providing a cozy setting to unwind and relax after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings. To the right, you'll discover bedroom one, thoughtfully furnished to ensure a restful night's sleep. Just a few steps up the hall, you'll find bedroom two, offering additional comfort and privacy.

Continuing along the hall, you'll be greeted by the heart of the house: a modern kitchen and dining area. This well-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing delicious meals, and the dining space offers a lovely view of the backyard. Speaking of the backyard, you can access it directly from the dining area, making it easy to enjoy alfresco meals or simply bask in the sun.

To the left of the dining area, you'll find bedroom three and four, both tastefully decorated to provide a peaceful retreat for the guests. Adjacent to these bedrooms is a conveniently located bathroom, making it easy for everyone to freshen up after a day of beach fun.

Outside:
The backyard of The Lakehouse is a true gem, offering a fantastic outdoor space for relaxation and recreation. With comfortable furniture and tables, it's the ideal spot for enjoying a barbecue feast or simply taking in the serene surroundings. The vast grassed area provides ample space for kids to play freely and for adults to stretch out and enjoy the fresh sea breeze. *It's important to note that there is no gate or fence separating the back and front yards. *

Location:
The Lakehouse boasts an enviable location, being just a short walk from the beach. Whether you're a sunbather, a swimmer, or a surfer, the nearby sandy shores will cater to your desires. Additionally, a local cafe is within easy reach, offering a delightful spot to grab a coffee or a tasty bite to eat.

For those seeking a change of scenery, Berrara Lagoon and Beach are less than a 5-minute drive away. These natural wonders provide a tranquil setting for kayaking, picnicking, and appreciating the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

Upon booking we require a security deposit plus credit card details. Once the property is inspected after your departure and no issues are found your security deposit will be released into your nominated bank account via BSB and Account Number and credit card details are destroyed within two weeks.

Good location, fully stocked kitchen but it was unbearably hot in the house.
We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The property fit us all really well - two couples with two children each under 4. The kitchen was really well stocked, the house itself was a good layout and the location was good. A huge disappointment however was how hot the house was. It was honestly miserable being inside the house in the day time, and not much better at night. We were there on days that varied between 25 and 30 degrees. The house only had two small fans there - luckily we brought two of our own otherwise we probably would have needed to purchase some. We had all the windows opened but couldn’t even have the front door opened because there was no fly screen so it was unsafe for the kids and let moths and flies in. The whole house was carpeted which didn’t help with the heat either. Another thing to note if you’re thinking of taking young children is that the backyard is not fenced. The house also needs a bit of maintenance, the bathroom door didn’t lock and the BBQ had two burners that were not working. Overall the house itself was pretty good. In reality, the heat made the house really unpleasant so I wouldn’t book here again. A couple of ceiling fans or a split system would’ve made our stay much more pleasant.

Everything was thought of
Have you ever stayed in a holiday home where the kitchen knives are actually sharp? That's the level of consideration put into this accommodation. Someone actually tried to provide what you need, and it's refreshing. The home is comfortable and spacious, clean and very well appointed. Literally the only thing we couldn't find was a tea towel and oven mitt. There's even staples in the pantry, like vegemite, tomato sauce, crackers and so much more. Even without air conditioning, the whole home cooled down in the evening with the windows open (in January) and there's fans in the closet. Would recommend highly.
