We enjoyed a short but much needed time away with family to the cool mountains. The location of this property is very secluded and quiet. The layout of the house is perfect for large family gathering or a weekend away with friends.

We stayed with a group of 22. The house was MORE than big enough. The basement was huge and that’s where all the teenagers hung out most of the time. The kitchen was very spacious and had all the things we needed to cook for our big group. The hot tub was leaking while we there and the owner sent someone out to fix it the very next morning. They were very friendly and responded quick to any questions we had. We also enjoyed seeing all the wildlife while we there. We saw wild turkeys, deer and elk. The kids really enjoyed that! If we take another family trip to Ruidoso, we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay

I stayed with 14 friends and we had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. The cabin was very beatiful and we had no issues with properly accommodating everyone. I highly recommend.

Family Time Together

Family had a wonderful time at Casa Ruidoso. Great place to have a family get together. The location and area are outstanding and the place itself is fantastic. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place to have a good time with family.

Ruidoso Family Trip

This is an amazing home to stay in for a large family! Very spacious and lots to do with pool table, ping pong table and hot tub!!! We had an amazing time and we’re very comfortable!!!

Casa Ruidoso

We do a cabin with old friends every year, this was our choice for 2025 and we loved it. The house is big and has enough rooms for all 4 of our big fanilies. Highly recommended

Great Big House for a Big Family

We stay here for my wife 50th birthday it was a great place big enough for hosting a big family. we will repeat if we need a big place like this! Area is really nice and you can take hikes direct to the wildernes, they have an arroyo on the back,

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful home with an amazing layout. Very welcoming and open. The view was amazing, very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We had 5 families altogether and everyone had their own space. Would definitely stay here again.

Friends and Family Fun!

We had 6 adults and 9 kids and there was more than enough space! Great location, plenty of everything you could need. Water pressure could get low at times, but that's expect with a large group. Don't run laundry while showering and spread out showers, you should be fine. Great time!

Great for family and friends to hangout!

We were a big group and love to cook meals so the big kitchen area was much appreciated and plenty of room to sit down and eat together as well! Most kitchen appliances as well, only thing that would be nice would be a pancake grill and luckily we had brought one for back up! Overall would definitely recommend and planning to come back again!:)

Family vacation

We had 19 in total stay and there was more than enough room for everyone. We threw all the kids down stairs in the game room and they had a blast. The heated floors were amazing! We didn’t get a chance to try the hot tub but we had a blast playing ping pong. We cooked a meal a day for everyone and the kitchen was so big and had all the pots and utensils we needed. Definitely considering this rental for future vacations!

House had plenty of rooms and beds to stay! House does not have AC a big water evaporator to move air is not an AC. That was the biggest complaint our family had as well as the water hardly getting hot for showers. As well as some of the other reviews stating issues with the home such as a bedroom door wouldnt open to the bathroom. Minor stuff. For the most part beautiful open space home kitchen was great having everyone around and as well as the big dining room table by the balcony

Beautiful views!

Check-in was easy and communication was fast! The home was perfect for our group. Nice welcome basket of goodies upon our arrival! Plenty of parking for our 4 cars. The bedrooms were big and plenty of beds for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the hot tub after a long day out exploring. The house was clean and perfectly located-- away from the noise but close enough too shops. The backyard views were spectacular. We saw deer and turkeys each evening and the kids really liked that alot. The only con is that there were no shampoo or soap so we had to go buy some. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice to have it available. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this place again.

Safety features

Every safety features in the house was unsafe. Some rails were completely coming apart all we're really weak. First lecture in the house was to tell everyone not to touch any stair railing. We didn't wanna be responsible for finishing the job of breaking them. Pool table would have been lots of fun with stick that had tips of used. Pool table by was a complete bust.

Family Fun

Looking for a perfect place to stay? This property is perfect! Our group had 12 Adults and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped with things you may need. Very spacious and relaxing. Quiet neighborhood and we saw a few deer during our stay. There is a gas station close by in case you need anything. The drive to Ruidoso is a very short drive. We highly recommend this place! We also got a cute welcome basket when we arrived. They also have great parking at the property. We would stay here again. Stop scrolling at other properties and book this place! You will not regret it 😁 *They even have 2 coffee pots! Perfect for your larger groups👌 Highly recommend!

Loved the house and the views. The owners are super friendly eager to help with anything needed and with a fast response. This is a great home for big group. Great property for large groups

This was a great setup for our school group because with the layout of two rooms on either side of the living room we were able to separate our group into boys and girls, as we had equal amounts of both. However, this arrangement wouldn't have worked well if we an unequal number because the rooms share a bathroom that is accessed by both rooms. This would be an uncomfortable arrangement knowing that if someone from the opposite sex was in the adjoining room they could access the bathroom while you were in it. There also isn't a true master bedroom with an en suite, which may cause another privacy issue. All that being said, it did serve us perfectly for the specific group we had. It was clean and the view from the balcony was beautiful. On a side note, beware the driveway. It might be a little difficult to manage without 4-wheel drive.

Ruidoso Getaway

Our family had a great time at the property, the place was very nice, clean and in a good location. The only issue we had was that our 84 year old mother when to sit on a chair in the dining room area and one of the legs broke and by luck there was some people around to catch her before she fell on the floor. The furniture is old and needs to be updated or replaced, there was also some minor issues with a coffee maker and the stove. All in all the experience was good and we would probably stay there again.
